Keep in mind that this still means your #Dogecoin is going through a centralized channel, as it happens with all these processors, like Coinbase. Yet, these third party providers are fundamental in a healthy ecosystem and they promote adoption. 1/2

We will get more and more fast on-chain/layer 2 solutions in the future. Heck, you could already use a Dogecoin wallet to accept payments directly in your store if you can wait 2-3 minutes for transaction finality. But, systems like Bitpay lower the barrier of entry for many. 2/2
