A covid positive case has visited the cancer ward at the RCH. Visitors patients and staff have been put into iso - parents however are being isolated with their children on the ward. No positives have been found in patients at this stage.

11 deaths today - the highest numbers we’ve had in this outbreak. The youngest in their 50s the oldest in their 90s.

Annd besties a few of you have asked about NSW/ACT borders- all areas not in lockdown will become orange zones. That means- come home - test and iso until neg.

Areas that are in lockdown in NSW/ACT will change from extreme risk to red - meaning Vic residents can apply to come home.

One person has died - she was in her 70s and was a resident at the Calvary Haydon aged care centre.

Of the positives - one is a baby in the Centenary Hospital. The baby started showing symptoms overnight. The health people say people shouldn’t feel worried about attending the hospital.

Annnnnd you’ve almost hit 95% first dose vaccination rate! Annnnnd 70% double dose should be achieved this week!
