We're being firehosed again, and it's in the service of a disinformation attack that is particularly geared toward leveraging unexamined misogyny into attacks on women. Been going on a few weeks now
Mostly I'm seeing it in the form of journalists and disinformation "experts," quotes because they're not fucking experts when they keep falling for the same shit over and over, attacking high-profile subject matter experts who also happen to be women
I don't know who might be behind it (although of course I have my own ideas), nor what the goal might be (although naturally I have ideas about that too.) All I can say is that disinfo channels are pushing anti-woman horseshit and a bunch of dudes are eagerly taking the bait
