Sun is considered to be king of all planets ie most powerful.

Any planet coming in contact with Sun loses its power & goes combust

Except Rahu

Rahu eclipses Sun

Is it then Rahu is most powerful of all planets?
Is Rahu controlled by some other planet?

There are many views among Astrologers on which planet can control Rahu.

By controlling it means by strengthening which planet can Rahu effects be reduced or nullified

Instead of endorsing 1 view I am merely examining different views & things may not be straightforward

Only Jupiter can overcome Rahu

Jup is considered significator or knowledge & wisdom. It also signifies Guru in our life. Guru means one who is big and one who leads us to light

When you have knowledge there can be no illusions.
Thus by strengthening Jup,Rahu is tamed

People facing Rahu challenges are often suggested to take Guru Diksha

Reading of Vedas & other scriptures specially Bhagwath Gita is a strong remedy suggested for Rahu

Mars carries the strength to tame Rahu

Mars leads army of gods against demons. Mars represents energy, action & will power. Mars is also karaka of natural 1st house ie self

Self belief, right actions indicate strong Mars which will not let Rahu stray towards negativity

One such widespread remedy of Rahu is carrying a red cloth or burying Rahu items in ground

Discipline & routine will also help with improving Rahu through Mars & Saturn

A strong Moon will dominate Rahu

A strong mind will not give in to temporary distractions & addictions
It will be able to judge between right & wrong.

Thus strengthening the moon will provide native with enough mental strength to manage Rahu obstacles

Keeping a silver Rahu yantra inside a red cloth is considered very effective remedy for Rahu

Mercury represents intelligence.
Intelligence help us distinguish right from wrong

But intelligence can go either way & Me is a dual planet

Me is also easiest to yield to Rahu

Me when controls Rahu can make Rahu a great benefic

Worshipping Durga or any devi form is believed to give one clarity of mind & Durga is known power that always wins against Rahu

Rahu is agent of Saturn

Sat is planet of karma & Rahu is agent of Saturn to give results as per our karmas

Keep actions right, do right deeds, strengthen Saturn & Rahu won't trouble you

No matter what, the darkness cannot exist forever

That is what is said about Sun
Sun always comes out of eclipse & Rahu can never keep a soul in darkness forever

To overcome one must work towards knowing & strengthening their soul/sun

Many also say that Rahu's reins are with the lord of sign it is placed in

Example Rahu in Aries, Mars must be strengthened

Thus all above views can be sort of incorporated in this theory of sign lord controlling Rahu

Rahu, true to its nature has created these diverse opposing views even amongst Astrologers on what Rahu energy is and how it can be controlled

Also if any of the other planets can control Rahu then how come they all lose control the moment they come in contact with Rahu

Ve Rahu gives luxuries but mostly gives addictions
Sun or Moon with Rahu eclipses them
Mars Rahu is probably worse with Angarak Yog

The truth is Rahu influences us greatly & it will take significant effort to free oneself from clutches of Rahu
