We assembled 100 Corsi-Rosenthal filter boxes.

Let’s do the math: 100 x 30 students per classroom = more than 3,000 students who will have another layer of protection when they attend school.

Every layer matters. Every layer helps reduce exposure which may save lives.

We settled on the five filter version over the four filter one. The five filter one moves 120 cubic feet per minute more than the four filter one. That means 1 unit will handle a huge 20’x20’x17’ room, bigger than most rooms.

We asked a local golf course to use their otherwise empty banquet room. Six of us, masked & vaxxed, assembled 100 in a day.

We emailed school district union presidents and spread the invitation for free #corsirosenthalboxes that way.

A 2 hour distribution window was set. This location was ideal, making pick up a drive -through service.

Every #corsirosenthalbox also came with a flyer and a list of resources.

This project is replicable and can be scaled for one or hundreds of units.

A Box Fan with controls on the top, by the handle. $20 at box stores.

Five MERV 13 (it’s a rating) filters. Yes, use five not 4 as some plans show. I purchased these at TexAirFilters.com. They had the size and best price I could find.

This diagram shows the assembly. Things to note:

Add the fifth filter at the bottom, not cardboard, to increase air flow & prolong filter life.

Elevate the filter off the floor or table (better). You can use cans of tomatoes or sanitizer wipe containers.
