Alam ko na madaming nasabi na dito about the campaign for VP @lenirobredo and despite all the disagreement around it, natutuwa pa rin ako at the fact na napakadiverse ng supporter base ni VP Leni and everyone seems to want to help in ensuring she wins.

Oo, thread din ito. I know we've seen a lot these days and I've tried to read all that cross my timeline because maraming magagandang ideas talaga na makakatulong kina @bamaquino as they start crafting the national campaign. I'm sure it has been a crazy week for them.

That being said, marami ding mga statements na hindi nakakatulong.

Especially those that begin with bad faith assumptions. I've seen posts starting with "Leni will lose.." and "I will stop supporting Leni if..."

Or sentiments that antagonize those who wish to ally with us.

Of course you are free to critique the current taglines being used but keep in mind these all came from volunteers and not from the official campaign that just started planning last week.

#LabanLeni2022 trended organically through supporters. VP shifted it to #LalabanTayo.

#LetLeniLead began as a call for VP to lead the pandemic response. By mid 2021, people started using it to express their desire to have @lenirobredo as our next President.

This triggered a volunteer-driven campaign to spread the word and counter the admin's narrative about her.

Understandably, not all efforts will resonate with everyone because of how diverse the support base is. Each group is working based on what resonates with them.

Good that @teamlenirobredo has organized various sectors to manage this diversity and see what will work for each.

I know we all want what is best for our country and it is possible through collaborative effort and not through condescension and antagonistic behavior.

Let's take our cue from VP @lenirobredo, queen of collaborative governance.

While we wait and see what the official campaign strategy will look like, we can always send our suggestions to the campaign team. If we post them, tag them. Make sure they see it kasi sayang din if they don't get to see it.

If kaya naman na din nating iimplement, why not?

I can't claim I know what will work for everyone but I do know what will work within my sphere of influence.

I'm happy showing people that VP Leni deserves our vote. Kahit on person at a time.

If you see someone asking questions, take that opportunity to talk to them.

Imagine if each of us can convince one person to support VP Leni and they pass this onto their own spheres of influence which was initially unreachable for us.

Antagonizing former and even current-but-doubting supporters of this administration will not do any good.

Anyway, this mentality has been guiding me in all I've done in relation to expressing my support for VP Leni and I've found my own successes because of it.

At the end of the day ang #LabanLeni2022 ay laban nating lahat at mahaba pa ang laban. Let's use our energy wisely 🎀💟
