If Ed Mullins did embezzle money from any of the union funds, it's a classic case of a lack of internal controls. I reviewed the NYC PBA & SBA Widows & Childrens Funds bc they were relatively small dollars w few transactions, making it easier for me to critique...

...Salvatore Armao lives in or used to live in Howard Beach so I tweeted about Ed Mullins hiring a "mobbed up CPA from Howard Beach" to get attention. Whether I did or not & whether it has anything to do w Ed Mullins' pending arrest, I don't know...
....I didn't know if anything was amiss w the SBA Widows & Childrens Fund but neither the SBA or the PBA funds appeared to be doing what they said they did w the money on their websites...
