Supreme Court judge Justice UU Lalit, who is the Executive Chairman of NALSA, today flagged off a rally “Ride for legal Awareness” organized by Ladakh Legal Services Authority.
The participants will attempt to reach out to maximum people and make them aware of programmes of NALSA and their right to free Legal Aid.
22 bikers will travel across 150 kms approx. covering Drass, Battalik, Chiktan and Wakha, and also 20 cyclists led by adv Asgar Yarkin will travel 30 kms approx from TFC Kargil to Ashina village covering 4/5 villages enroute.
Their vision will be to reach out to the tribal villages and population in the interior of the district. During this ride for legal awareness, the volunteers shall distribute the pamphlets containing information about the beneficiaries under Legal Services Authorities Act.
