There is a saying, “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation”.
Nature has divided human beings into two genders and both are given responsibilities which suit them.

Along with assigning the responsibilities, nature has very clearly stated the rights of both on each other. Before we debate on role of women, let’s see how God created woman in the first place. In the beginning when it came to the creation of woman,

God found that he had exhausted all the solid materials in the making of man. In this dilemma after profound meditation, He did as follows; he took the rotundity of the moon, curves of the creepers, the clinging of tendrils, the trembling of grass, the slenderness of weeds,
🔻🔻

the bloom of flowers, the lightness of leaves, the glances of deer, clustering rows of bees, the joyous gaiety of moonbeams, the timidity of hare, the vanity of the peacock, the softness of zephyr, the hardness of diamond,
🔻🔻

the sweetness of honey, the cruelty of tiger, the warm glow of fire, the coldness of snow, the chattering of jays, the hypocrisy of the crane and compounding all these together he made women.
Ironically Pakistan especially rural areas are primarily male dominant

and working women are looked down upon with contempt and scorn. The role of Pakistani women in their families revolves around well-established conventions of male supremacy and female sub ordinance. Female population of our country is greater than male population.

If such a big portion of population is kept behind then it’s difficult to progress and we will lag behind the developed countries. Here the complete responsibility lies with the men to educate and encourage women to step forward and play their constructive role.

Women are not only for home-making and child-bearing but they must also be given chance to put their hands a little forward in building up of a good solid society. A good solid society is a good harbinger of development.
