Normally, every year I tell people to NOT buy the Google Pixel right away because they often put it on sale in late November.
This year, I’M NOT suggesting that.
You have a combination of these insane prices plus the chip shortage. It’s going to be hard to buy these.

If google wanted to get their headline of “Google Pixel 6 Sells out,” pricing it at this level will finally get them that headline along with that chip shortage.
Also, I've seen a lot of comments about "passing on savings from developing their own chips instead of going with Qualcomm," and this isn't real, yet.
It costs A LOT to develop your own custom chip, even if it's based on another one. The savings won't come for generations.
