I sucked at writing threads on Twitter.

But now I generate 100,000+ Impressions writing around web development, growth hacks.

8 lessons I learned the hard way, so you don't have to.

THREAD 🧵 ↓
1/ Headline Matters

• Keep the headline short and simple with stats/purpose

• A good headline will help your audience to stop scrolling when they see your tweet on their timeline
Take a look at this gold mine, How you can write attention-grabbing hooks

2/ Formatting

• Good formatting helps your audience to enjoy your tweet.

• It's like you giving them a complimentary gift which they can't deny 🎁
Use Following to level up your game

1. Bullets

2. Emoji's, Symbols ( ➜ )

3. Add proper space to increase readability

4. Break long sentences into multiple small sentences
3/ Use Media

• Having a good image, GIF on the sub-threads helps your audience to quickly visualize what your talking about.

• You tend to remember and relate faster if you see than you read.

• Try to add it wherever it's possible, it's fine if you don't have images
4/ Summarize everything on the last tweet

• Don't leave your audience at a dead end.

• You can conclude it in a better way and ask them a favor too
For example, I use this signature to end all my threads

TL;DR
• Point 1
• Point 2

2. Retweet the first tweet to inspire others

5/ Add a link to your first tweet at the end

• This is the best hack you can do to make your audience click and like/RT the first thread by providing a better experience

• If your thread is long chances that users will go on top to like or RT the thread is low.
6/ Retweet the tweet that is quote retweeted

• To keep the ball rolling and get more impressions, you should retweet those tweets which are quote retweeted by your audience.

DO THIS ONLY if it is shared by some bigger account or has a nice message to show off.
7/ DON'T DO THIS

• Don't use hashtags on the first tweet

• Don't add any links on the first tweet, you can always add them in the sub-thread if there are any

• Don't add a longer sentence, as people would find it lazy to read them
8/ Promote your thread beyond Twitter

• Convert thread into and blog post

• You can add your thread on Reddit, IndieHackers, HackerNews

• DO this if you think it has great insights on a specific topic which people should know
Why did I post this thread?

• I want everyone to grow with me ( Let's learn and grow together )

• I love uplifting others

• I would be proud of myself if it works for you too
TL;DR
1. Headline matters
2. Formatting
3. Use Media
4. Summarize threads
5. Faster Navigation
6. Retweet
7. Don't use Hashtag
8. Thread to blogs

I've received 100+ DM's asking me the same question.

Will No-code take the web developer job away?

Here is a crystal clear explanation between code, no-code, and low-code.

THREAD 🧵 ↓
First, let's start understanding the definition:

• Code
Build applications using HTML, CSS, and Javascript from scratch

• Low-code
Use some tools that generate the code for you

• No-code
No coding knowledge is required, use a visual builder to build an application
How does No-code help?

• Quickly evaluate your ideas

• The learning curve is less as no coding knowledge is required

• Build MVP's in days ( Reduce time to market )

• Save Money

It took me 3 months to figure out how to use Twitter right.

But then I grew to a 12,000+ audience.

Here are 8 Mistakes I made which you shouldn't repeat.

THREAD 🧵 ↓
1/ Not Engaging

• Twitter is a platform where you give and take.

• But give give give give and then take.

• Engage with other accounts, add more value to them.
• If you regularly engage with at least 10-15 accounts I'm sure that account will start noticing you.

• I wasted my initial days just focusing on MY tweets, MY likes, MY comments.

• It didn't work well.
