Generally every winter season we see strong winter chill in North, West #Telangana.
North TS will see low temp due to higher LATITUDE whereas West TS will see low temp due to higher ALTITUDE
During Severe cold waves, parts of North, West TS will see temp upto 2-3°C

Districts like #Adilabad, #Nirmal, #Asifabad, #Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, #Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medchal see below 5°C temp during severe cold waves in Dec, Jan months
East, South TS will see higher min temp due to close proximity to sea, lower latitudes respectively
Districts like #Adilabad, #Nirmal, #Asifabad, #Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Medak, #Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medchal see below 5°C temp during severe cold waves in Dec, Jan months

Comming to winter rains, mainly East, South TS will get more rains during Nov
Dec - Feb will be generally the driest months for TS in whole year.
TS generally gets rains due to dip in WD or interaction of LPA with WD but these are very less rains compared to monsoon 👍

HYD city temp will generally start dropping from Oct last week, peak winter months will be Dec, Jan
Remember one thing that only outskirts of city will witness chilly weather compared to core city due to URBAN HEAT ISLAND effect

Sometimes during severe cold waves in Dec, Jan outskirts of city like #Patancheru, BHEL Factory, #Lingampally, #Rajendranagar, #Hayathnagar, #Bandlaguda witness single digit temp 7-9°C
Core city will be warm with temp around 14-16°C during the same time

There will be generally less rains in HYD during winter season. Just it will rain in 1 or 2 days in a month and remaining days will be dry as per climatology
