Any multivitamins or supplements in general should not contain:
- synthetic vitamin A
- vitamin E in the form of ONLY a-tocopherol (mixed tocopherols + tocotrienols preferable)
- folate/vitamin B9 in the form of folic acid
- vitamin B12 in the form of cyanocobalamin
- calcium
- copper
- iron
Food only for vitamin A, calcium, copper, and iron.
Grassfed liver or cod liver for vitamin A and copper.
Dairy, sardines, bone broth for calcium.
Grassfed red meats for iron, grassfed red meats/butter/dairy and eggs for vitamin A.
Styrian pumpkin seed oil and palm oil for vitamin E food sources.
Methylfolate and Folinic acid for folate if supplemented.
Methylcobalamin + Adenosylcobalamin or Hydroxycobalamin for vitamin B12.
Vitamin D is optimal to avoid in favor of sunlight, cod liver, seafood, and mushrooms, though there are some contexts that require it.
