The officers stopped us. They asked us where we were coming from. We told them we were just coming from a Ball Viewing centre. They requested to see Our phones. Kenneth asked them "Why"? The officer questioning us gave him a deadly look.Before i could blink an eye,

a slap landed on his face. The officer questioning us asked him to Shut up..
I quickly gave him my phone to avoid more problems.. He went through my phone , after few minutes he returned it back.. He then asked kenneth for his phone.
Kenneth refused

saying he has to know why he must give him his phone.. What was he looking for in his phone.. And besides a police man has no business and right perusing through a civilian's phone..
An Argument started.. I begged kenneth to please give them the phone so that we can leave

As it was getting late. He did give them the phone. After they searched through it. They requested for 200k .. Saying it was for offence of criminal contempt.. How? Why? It wasn't making sense.
We told them we didn't do anything wrong and we have no money to give.

They asked us to kneel down. Kenneth said "we would do no such thing". The first officer pointed a gun at him.
I was already shaking, i walked up to the second officer. I pleaded with the second officer to please let us go. He didn't even look my way.

A gun was still pointed at kenneth's face and he was still arguing with the first officer.

I heard a loud bang, i turned. Kenneth was on the floor. The officer was going through his pockets..My phone was snatched from me..
I rushed to kenneth shouting. He looked up at me...

He looked up at me, he tried saying something .. But blood was pouring out of his mouth. I turned to plead with the officers but they were already walking away.

I screamed for help but nobody came .. I shouted and shouted, nobody came .. I begged kenneth to still hang on. I applied pressure on the wound, i tried reducing the bleeding.

I looked up at his face and i saw the light leaving his eyes..... He died... He died in my arms..
