Subject: Public comments on SAGO members
Dear SAGO WHO,
1. In light of statements by your Secretary General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Maria D. Van Kerkhove and Michael J. Ryan in "Preparing for “Disease X” science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
3. “As well, laboratory hypotheses must be examined carefully, with a focus on labs in the location where the first reports of human infections emerged in Wuhan. A lab accident cannot be ruled out until there is sufficient evidence to do so and those results are openly shared”
4. “Globally, at least 4.8 million people have died from COVID-19. They and their families are owed answers as to where and how the virus originated. It’s in everyone’s interest to better prepare for the next Disease X”
5.
2. and other recent public statements by AHF President Michael Weinstein in “No Clean Slate for WHO’s Second COVID Probe” aidshealth.org/2021/10/no-cle…
6.
“At this point, to be taken seriously, the investigation must dispel any inkling of bias toward a particular outcome or hypothesis, and that means appointing an entirely new independent team of investigators”
7.
“After so much controversy following the 1st investigation, which made the entire exercise pointless because the credibility of the process was damaged by conflicts of interest, WHO’s rationale for re-appointing some of the same members for a 2nd attempt is incomprehensible”
8.
3. I kindly request that you remove these 6 members from the WHO Scientific Advisory Group for the Origins of Novel Pathogens (SAGO):
Christian Drosten, Thea Fischer, Kathrin Summermatter, Supaporn Wacharapluesadee, Marion Koopmans and Yungui Yang
9. 4. Why? Because of their conflicts of Interest and publicly stated bias against one hypothesis:
Marion Koopmans:
She said that a forensic investigation would be “wasted time”.
The first group listed on her Erasmus “Collaborators” webpage is EcoHealth Alliance.
10.
She constantly downplayed obvious conflicts of interest involving EHA & Daszak.
She told Dr.Yungui Yang she agrees with the Chinese proposal for Phase-2 study.
She said that that “we found not a grain of evidence for the lab leak theory”
11. She called a lab leak in Wuhan a “debunked hypothesis”
She has close links to Chinese Research institutions.
She has appeared multiple times on Chinese media supporting China’s narrative.
She uncritically supports Peter Daszak’s comments on the missing databases.
12.
Dr. Supaporn Wacharapluesadee:
She is a subcontractor on a 2020 multi-million $ NIH grant to EcoHealth Alliance.
She used to work with DARPA before 2009 and then with EcoHealth Alliance.
Her institution, Chulalongkorn University, will receive $1 million from the grant.
13. She will fly to New York City for annual meetings with EHA President Peter Daszak.
Dr. Kathrin Summermatter:
She considers biosafety levels in Chinese labs very good.
Her own institute works with coronaviruses.
14.
She was likely paid for the laboratory inspections she has done in China.
She said that she considers a research related accident a ‘classic conspiracy theory’
“I consider this very unrealistic, a classic conspiracy theory”
15. Dr. Christian Drosten:
He signed the March 2020 & July 2021 Lancet letters attacking a lab leak hypothesis
He has publicly ridiculed the lab leak theory.
16.
Dr. Yungui Yang:
He is the Deputy Director at the Beijing Institute of Genomics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences which oversees the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Dr. Thea Fischer:
She publicly denied that China did not provide important data to the first WHO team.
17.
5. Please consider replacing them with any of the following scientists:
1. Is Fang Li male or female? 2. What does the Ra in RaTG13 stand for? 3. Is BANAL a bat or a virus? 4. How many receptors does SARS-COV-2 enjoy? 3, 5, 8, 12 or 14?
5. While working with Viruses at his UNC Lab, which music does Ralph Baric like to listen to?
A. Abba
B. The Bee Gees
C. Blue Oyster Cult
D. Hawkwind 6. where was Shi Zhengli on December 30th 2019?
A. Wuhan
B. Singapore
C. Shanghai
D. On a train
Answers: 1. Male 2. Rhinolophus affinis 3. Bat Virus (Laos)

Possible laboratory origins of SARS-CoV-2, likelihood of a subsequent, deadlier COVID pandemic & necessity to introduce blockchain practices for verifying & tracking scientific data
He saw women, men & children trying to escape the flames in huge water tanks & boiling to death, others burning in molten tarmac & yet others sucked into the air with their heads on fire, their bodies exploding in the heat
Perhaps I should be more realistic & knuckle down to the concept of the brutality of the human race, but I have always been a stubborn individual. I am not a diplomat. I just happen to have witnessed the worst that man has to offer & I like it not one bit bbc.com/news/av/uk-214…
