So I’m in LA for work meetings this weekend- it’s 60-65° - Half the people I’ve met with are in puffer jackets and Uggs.

In the past four years I’ve lived in a place where this happens but when it’s below 75°(Florida) and now I live in Boston where already this semester I’ve seen it be 45° outside and people are in tank tops 😅

I lived in LA until I was 14 so this isn’t super surprising to me I guess I just kind of forgot having been on the East Coast for the past 7 years. I remember when it would rain when I was growing up in LA- it might as well have been a blizzard no one went out no one can drive

This is so random but one of my favorite things about LA are the donuts from like the independent donut shops that come in pink boxes. It reminds me of my childhood

The culture of independent often immigrant owned donut shops in SoCal is one of the things I missed most when I moved to Florida- the land of Dunkin’ Dunkin’ and more Dunkin’.

My fav donut dipped in black coffee 😌

Also if you’re on staff out here on the trip with me and you’re reading this- don’t worry I got you donuts too.
