A classic example of this: Image
How extremely lengthy campaigns can crumble all effort towards the primary goal. Image
The enemy may or may not attack today. But what matters is "our own readiness". Image

Is the Indian Diet Healthy Enough?

(1/7) Image
Recently, doctors at AIIMS Delhi warned that unhealthy diets now drive 56% of diseases in India!

The numbers are concerning. The Global Food Policy report found that nearly 40% consume too many processed, unhealthy foods while missing out on essentials like pulses, fruits, and vegetables.

(2/7)
Protein intake is also alarmingly low, and experts stress the need for more protein-rich foods like sprouts and dairy.

They also highlighted the importance of fats—but warned that it shouldn’t make up more than 30% of your total calorie intake.

Also it’s not just about diet—regular physical activity, like aerobic exercises and strength training, is crucial for maintaining a healthy weight.

Why do high profile actors with substantial wealth still choose to have health insurance?

(1/7) Image
Recently, Saif Ali Khan made headlines after a violent knife attack. Thankfully, after undergoing emergency surgery, doctors confirmed that he’s out of danger and was discharged today.

This incident raised an interesting question that many people were wondering about:

Why do high profile actors with substantial wealth still choose to have health insurance?

(2/7)
Here’s what we think:

1. International coverage

Many health insurance policies offer international coverage, and that’s a big reason why celebrities (who frequently travel abroad) may find them so valuable.

Healthcare in foreign countries can be incredibly expensive—even for celebrities. But with the right insurance, they can get quality treatment without worrying about huge bills or navigating complicated payment processes in different currencies.

Two friends– R.S. Goenka & R.S. Agarwal saw a gap in India’s herbal care market.

They left their jobs at the Birla Grp– put in ₹20K & started Kemco Chemicals (Emami)– an Ayurvedic meds & cosmetic unit in Kolkata.

A bold step in a market dominated by multinationals. Image
The formula was– Make way into India’s growing middle class.

Both partners would pile up their first products– Emami Talcum Powder & Vanishing Cream in a hand-pulled rickshaw, go door-to-door & sell.

Truth behind food labels EXPOSED‼️

Labels like 'Multigrain’, ‘Organic’, ‘No added Sugar’ create an illusion of ‘healthy eating’.

Here’s a list of most misunderstood health claims (& what they actually mean)👇 Image
👉Multigrain

It simply means ‘more than one type of grain’.

That’s not a guarantee that it's healthier, is it?

👉Natural

It means that at some point, the manufacturer used a natural source like rice or grapes– doesn’t mean the food is healthy.
👉Organic

Does organic mean healthy? Think again.

Organic sugar is still sugar.

👉Light

This basically means that the item has been watered down to reduce calories or fats.

But, they might have other additives like sugar– so keep an eye out.

The ULTIMATE GUIDE to select a TERM LIFE INSURANCE plan

(Don’t forget to hit❤️ before you proceed)

Thread🧵
1) Policy duration👉

See, your term plan is meant to cover your family’s money needs in case you pass away untimely.

That is, you need it only till your kids are financially dependent on you.

So, why take an unnecessarily long & costly life insurance plan for 99 years or so?
We recommend going for a term plan that covers your family until your kids are well-settled & capable of sustaining themselves & your spouse;

They’re much cheaper too!

Note that the average life expectancy in India is 70.

So, the premiums shoot up drastically after that.

A few of India’s biggest insurers may hike their term insurance prices soon!

“Why a hike now?”
“Will this affect my premiums?”
“How can I protect myself from high premiums?”

In this thread, we'll be answering your most-asked questions

(Don’t forget to hit❤️before you proceed)
Why do insurers increase term prices?🤔

Well, there could be multiple reasons.

Just last year, insurers hiked premiums due to the surge in covid related deaths.

Leading experts also suggest that India is a largely underpriced market-
The number of insurance companies is high, but their penetration in the insurance market is low.

So, they keep the prices low to cope with the competition.

However, as the insurance adoption increases, the prices might increase as well.
