🍷Fun announcement🍷

A special NFT drop, that benefits kids & art, and honors some of our favorite twitter frens, will be live tomorrow at noon PST!

I have commissioned the talented @SketchaOfficial to create portraits of:
@Anonymoux2311
@farokh
@jdh
@kevinrose
@KeyboardMonkey3
@krybharat
@punk6529
@seedphrase
@Vince_Van_Dough
@VonMises14

None of them know we did this, and none of them have seen their portraits yet! 😂
Each work will be a 1/3.

1 edition will be dropped to the collector it honors, the next 2 available for purchase.

Sketcha has worked hard on these, and they are incredible. He will be donating 10% of sale proceeds to kidsandart.org, to help kids with cancer thru art.
All portraits will be priced at 1 ETH.

At noon PT tomorrow, they go live.

When I first saw @deekaymotion's 'Destiny', I found it cute.

I loved the way the girl grabbed the boy's hand after getting the flower, and pulled him into the door.
But then I saw the delightful animated struggle of the boy and girl finding each other.

Why did I just invest in a Cryptopunk when I already have significant exposure?

If you study networks, you find the focal point of a network tends to accrue a disproportionate amount of the value.

This is why Michael Jordan... <continues👇 >
... earned 100x the money of the next best NBA player.

Why Beyonce earns 50x more than the next best R&B singer.

And why J.K. Rowling sells 10x more than the next children's author.

Why?
When you are the focal point, you accrue the most exposure + the most opportunity.

This equals a halo effect that makes dethroning the #1 nearly impossible.

I aped again! Just love these Fragments by @MonicaRizzolli

This work is #424, ranked 21st in rarity.

I find the colors + texture to be remarkable, and feel it is certainly a top 25 work. Some may even put it in their top 10.

However... 👇
I honestly feel my piece # 972, while ranked lower in rarity at 45th, could be the most visually striking in the entire collection.

It will be interesting to see how these end up being valued. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Here is another I keep coming back to. It's owned by @Akira. I tried to buy it, & when I clicked it was already his!

I mean, look at those stunning full flowers. Looks rare.

Rarity rank only #78, but this is a top 5 piece for me.
