Any sort of sustained armed conflict or "civil war" scenario is still just a fantasy. This is for two reasons.
The first is economic: no financial institution will fund a multi-billion dollar war, and crypto ain't enough.
The second is geography: there's nowhere to go.
One might perceive a corridor along the southern US consisting of AZ, NM, TX, LA, GA, and FL. Another corridor along the northern border of OH, MN, WY, SD, ND, NE, MT.
That's not enough economic output to be sustainable or geographically connected.
Conflict zones would then be centered in KS, KY, OK, MS, IL, TN.
States like OR, WA, CA, and CO would see localized uprisings which would be quickly put down.
MT is the interesting point because the US military billets a great deal of equipment in that state.
Wargaming a modern civil war scenario in the US is depressing to say the least, but still will not result in anything except a more federalized nation.
A more likely scenario is a greater outside threat, be it manufactured or organic, which would serve to unify enough of the country in such a manner as to make armed insurrection less appealing.
Something, perhaps, like an extraterrestrial threat.
Sorta puts the military UFO disclosures of last year in perspective, eh?
UFOs are real. Aliens exist.
If that's how things go down it won't be "fake."
It will be coordinated.

All the people slamming on this didn't read the article, because once you get right here... you realize this technology has the potential to be therapeutic.
The concept of closure is really tough for psychologists.
Nobody will ever tell you what you to hear, or do what you need someone to do, because it's not outside of you.
This is better than talk therapy or drugs, and as its generative it always eventually homes in on the need.
