Shooting before 8a.
911 caller tracked their stolen vehicle to Lowry Ave N & Dupont and told dispatcher the person/suspect shot at him. The vic said he had the suspect at gunpoint.
Police arrived and one person was down with a gunshot.
Unclear which was shot. Will try to update.

There is a Milestone surveillance camera at this location, but it wasn't working at the time of the shooting. 🙄

Pics/post from Phillip Murphy--True North group. The stolen vehicle was towed to forensics. MFD was called to "wash down" two separate spots [generally the bloody biohazard].

Check this out. After the carjackings started tonight, Hennepin County Commissioner Angela Conley commented on our FB post that the suspect vehicle was hers. She claims she made a police report, but the dispatcher clearly stated the vehicle was not listed as stolen.

Conley deleted the comments about her stolen vehicle in the thread before we saw them, but other followers re-pasted her comments. (pic 3).

When the carjackings started tonight, the dispatcher distinctly told police the Durango HAD NOT been reported stolen (pic 1).

After several carjackings the dispatcher updated the Durango as stolen (pic 2).

When did Conley report the vehicle stolen? During the carjackings?

There were multiple armed robberies of persons in #DTMpls around 5:45 - 6 a.m this morning. Two suspects were in a dark Dodge Durango or similar with a plate that comes back to a Jaguar, CFR79*.
Area of 11th and 5th St to 3rd and Portland, roughly.

The Jaguar was stolen with keys in a burglary in St. Louis Park around 2:30 this morning.

Police are now in pursuit a stolen vehicle near 40th and Dight (near Hiawatha) that is supposedly related to the armed robberies.
Now northbound in the southbound lane of Hiawatha.

An adult female is dead and 14 others injured in shootout inside #StPaul bar at 2xx West 7th St just after midnight this morning.

There were reportedly several shooters.
No arrests have been made.

This is the 32nd homicide for St. Paul this year.

Chief Axtell says three males are under arrest.

Stick with us as we follow up to see how many times their wrists were slapped and they were previously spun through the revolving doors of #MN's Criminal Protection System.

Violent offender Tyree Antwon Walker who was charged with a violent assault of a 58 year-old-man on the Green Line LRT in 2019?

First of all, @KSTP lied to you by omission.

Walker pled guilty & was "sentenced" to 6 mos in the workhouse. However, he didn't spend one minute in the workhouse. He was granted "immediate furlough to the streets" on the promise he'd attend treatment, by Judge William Koch.

3/
Walker has had at least two warrants issued since conviction for alleged probation violations, & was charged with felony theft 8 months after conviction.

Yet, his probation wasn't revoked after being arrested on warrant and he was released on zero bail by Laura M. Thomas.
