Mumbai Court will be hearing the plea of #ED seeking further custody of #AnilDeshmukh, former Home Minister of #Maharashtragovernment in money laundering case.
Journalists are not allowed entry in the court complex. The Court has purpotedly ordered that reporters should wait outside the main gate of the Court building.
Deshmukh’s counsel also moved an anticipatory bail application on behalf of Hrishikesh Deshmukh, son of #AnilDeshmukh, which the Mumbai Court will hear on November 12, 2021.

Chaudhari: We have filed ABA for Hrishikesh Deshmukh. We sought interim relief but then the Court said that adequate time was not granted to ED to respond.
Chaudhari: No summons had been issued to Hrishikesh Deshmukh so far. Suddenly now that summons have been issued, they are apprehending an arrest similar to #AnilDeshmukh. The alleged assets that have been attached are of 2004-05 and those companies have no connection here.
Chaudhari: How can police custody be granted for an offence from ao far afo for an offence relating to the then Home Minister and stretch beyind domain of scheduled offence.

Luthra: This Court would be the last Court to make access to Virtual Courts through Hybrid Mode infructuous as we have filed the Petition on the basis of the directives issued by the E-Committee of this Court itself to all High Courts.
