Few things we learnt from the elections so far:

-Charles Soludo of APGA has clinched an early lead with two LGAs to his name -- Anaocha and Onitsha LGAs.

-19 other LGAs are yet to complete collation of results

-Voter turnout has remained low, with less than 20 percent registered voters actually casting a ballot (based on collated results)

-Vote buying on the side of the politicians and technical glitches on INEC's part may affect the credibility of the election, according to CDD
-Voting to continue on Sunday, November 7, 2021

-TheCable will definitely bring you more updates as the process continues.

Update: The BVAS system has been malfunctioning, making the process a slow one. Only two people have been accredited. The INEC officials here say they’ve contacted the office for a replacement.

Update: INEC staff appear to be having trouble with the Biometric Voter Accreditation System (BVAS). Only two people have voted here in over 20 minutes.

Update: The INEC officials arrived at 9:45am. One of the presiding officers said their late arrival was caused by organisation and logistics issues.

... A Qatari businessperson planned to build a school in Qatar and sought a lender to invest $15m in the project.

...Juma, a Kenyan based in Nairobi and Hushpuppi had collaborated with Chibuzo, based in Nigeria to defraud the unsuspecting businessperson.

...Juma told the businessperson of his interest in the project and offered to provide the loan.

Hushpuppi thereafter feigned to be a Malik who works with a US bank and offered to help coordinate the payment of the loan.

The pair then convinced the businessperson to send money to them under the guise of taxes and among others to fast-track the said loan.
