We need to talk about the Sheriff’s, you guys. Specifically the Constitutional Sheriff’s and Peace Officers Association or the CSPOA. We have to go back to 2014 for this one. Let’s head west to Nevada for a wee thread.🧵👇🏻
In 2014 a press conference was held for Cliven Bundy that featured none other than the founder and leader of the Oathkeepers, Person One himself, Stewart Rhodes. Bundy had been sued by BLM, no the other one, the Bureau of Land Management.
Looooong story short, the reason for this was Bundy’s cattle had been grazing on public lands, and Bundy wasn’t paying the government for the privilege. The feds wanted the cows corralled off our land and returned to Bundy’s. Oathkeepers, not so much.
On April 14th, 2014, Stewart Rhodes spoke at what was called a press conference but for all intents and purposes, was a rally. He spoke under an Oathkeepers flag wearing his Oathkeepers hat and his Oathkeepers shirt. Here is the video of Rhodes’ speech.
The Oathkeepers were seemingly there to protect Bundy’s right to not follow federal law. Rhodes begins his speech by referencing a Sheriff Richard Mack. He says:
‘When Sheriff Mack and I first heard about this [Bundy dispute] our first stop was to call Matt Shea.’ (📌1)
I’m going to leave that there for a moment as I only wanted to illustrate the relationship between Rhodes and Sheriff Mack. Rhodes goes on to say the Bundy issue ‘is an attack on the entire west. It’s an attack to stamp out your culture.’
The leader of the Oathkeepers giving an anti-government speech, speaking about an attack on culture in 2014? 🤔 He also uses cowboy and posse imagery as well in his language. ‘We watched them [feds] hightail it over the horizon’. Stop me when this sounds familiar.
Rhodes continues that what he thought made the difference (presumably why the FBI did not Waco the place) was the Bundy women standing in the feds faces. This elicits a strong female reaction from the crowd gathered before him. But let’s dig deeper.
Remember, Rhodes and Sheriff Mack are in this together. Sheriff Richard Mack had *this* to say about the women: ‘If [feds] are going to start killing people, women needed to be the first one’s shot.’ You can read that again, but it will be just as appalling the second time.
Remember what Bundy’s cows were doing was illegal. Rather than make a reasoned argument as to why they had not been corralled, or their fines not paid, these guys (with the aid of a Sheriff) decided to put women on the front line to be shot first. huffpost.com/entry/richard-…
To be fair to Sheriff Mack, he said the plan to sacrifice the women ‘sounded horrible’, ‘but to show the world how ruthless [feds] are’ 🤷🏼‍♂️ This is a Sheriff. A public safety officer. It was his idea. Rhodes says, ‘I guess the women have to show the men how it’s done around here.’
Rhodes says, Sheriff Mack here is forming a ‘coalition of Sheriffs’ 🤔(📌2). ‘We are going to have a coalition effort across the entire west.’ He tells the crowd they have to stand as ‘the posse with the Sheriff’s and the legislators and the governors.’
Which brings us to 📌1. Remember when Rhodes said his and Sheriff Mack’s first stop was to Matt Shea? Shea was a Washington State Rep at the time. Shea would go on to do some interesting things. For some context, read this article from 2017 as we can begin to see evolution.
If you didn’t read the article, that’s ok, you can always go back to it, but know it had to do with taking over govt buildings in a refuge in Oregon, Shea helped to plan it and was found to have engaged in domestic terrorism against the US.

Anyhoo…Rhodes goes on to talk about the founders and militias being necessary for a free state. He says the crowd will not be secure. He says it is time to resurrect and become the militias once again.
Rhodes tells the crowd he was reminded of a time that capitol police stood down in the face of Vietnam veterans in Washington DC because they weren’t dealing with ‘occupy hippies’. The crowd laughs in Pavlov. The dog whistles were a bit gentler in 2014.
We’ve come so far from that windy NV desert speech and so has the coalition of sheriffs Richard Mack was forming. Which brings us to 📌2. Check out the hat Mack is wearing. It says CSPOA. As in the Constitutional Sheriff’s Peace Officers Association. Image
Fast forward from 2014 to 2020 and let’s go from Nevada to Michigan and a Sheriff named Dar Leaf. Remember there was a plot to kidnap the Governor of Michigan? Leaf came out against Gov Whitmer. A public safety officer siding with domestic terrorists. thedailybeast.com/sheriff-pal-of…
It doesn’t end there for Sheriff Leaf, he also tried to enlist other Constitutional Sheriffs to seize Dominion voting machines. Emails indicate Leaf’s atty was in contact with Sidney Powell and a Mike Flynn associate named Carissa Keshel.(📌3) bridgemi.com/michigan-gover…
What does a Sheriff need with voting machines? On what authority would he have to seize them? I think that might be the point here. The constitutional Sheriff’s seem to be taking their authority a bit too far. They are emboldened.
How far will they take it? Will they call up posse’s? Will they deputize Oathkeepers? Proudboys? For what purpose? Again, on whose authority? Getting back to Richard Mack, he’s not just a guy on a stage with Stewart Rhodes, he is a board member of the Oathkeepers.
Now, let’s sum this up. In 2014, this part of the current op we are living through was just getting started. Oathkeepers protecting outlaws against our government along side state legislators who seized government buildings using domestic terrorism with the help of sheriff’s.
In 2021, Oathkeepers are protecting Roger Stone, an outlaw against our government if ever there has been, along side state representative like Mark Finchem seizing the US Capitol Building while Sheriff’s tried getting their hands on voting machines. Stop me when this is familiar.
It sure looks like the Constitutional Sheriff’s went from being introduced to the Bundy family during a press conference in 2014 to seizing voting machines at the behest of Mike Flynn in 2021. Now dear reader, you know I can’t let you go without mentioning the whiteboard, right?
Which whiteboard? How about the one called ‘a path to trump’ that shows a path including the names Phil Waldron, Sheriff Richard Mack, General Mike Flynn and Sidney Powell among others? We are under attack. It is happening now.
Finally, 📌3 was about a woman named Carissa Keshel representing the interests of Mike Flynn to Sheriff Dar Leaf in Michigan. Wouldn’t you just know it but her husband Seth Keshel submitted an affidavit to team Sidney Powell for her lawsuit to overturn the election? Image
Not only did Keshel submit an affidavit, here he is listed as speaker for a Mike Flynn event with ASOG’s Phil Waldron, Mark Finchem and an added bonus of Sheriff Clark from Wisconsin. He spoke at the trump’s first RNC. Read more about ASOG here, but pour another drink first. Image
Folks, this has been a long game for Rhodes’s brand of libertarianism. The clear lines from 2014 - 2017 - 2021 show us they are practicing and honing their operations in a war we have yet to realize we are in. We must report it. We must defeat it. We must vote it out.
Thank you to anyone who has read this. Please understand what it means. One side wants 2022 to be America’s penultimate election and will do anything to make that happen. We can’t allow it. Make sure you’re registered to vote and vote.
END
My apologies, Sherrif Clarke is not mentioned herein.

I recently had a periodic neurology visit. Such is the life of a dopamine depleted Parkinson’s brain. These visits come with the gig to see how I’m doing. What meds need tweaking etc. They’re obligatory in a way. There is no cure. A wee reality check on fascism 🧵👇🏻
My neurologist is about my age. We get along, we both go through the motions. He knows he can only do so much, he knows I’m trying to do what I can to retain my sense of value. I like him. He likes me. He is from Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko has declared himself the winner of a recent election there. Look at the words. ‘Declared’, ‘himself’ & ‘winner’. He did not win. He declared so. A declaration of an election victory is the stealing of an election victory. Sound familiar?

Today’s House Rules committee met to further proceed on the recommendation of the @January6thCmte to refer Steve Bannon for criminal contempt of Congress. @BennieGThompson and @RepLizCheney both testified about democracy and accountability. But then🧵👇🏻

Sheriff shoot-n-holler and the Animated Sugar Daddy both came in to testify. That’s the unjacketed Jim Jordan and Ice cream enthusiast Matt Gaetz respectively. It was wild, you should really watch the whole thing. But what caught my ear was Gaetz using Steve Bannon’s words.
Gaetz said to ‘catch the signal, and not the noise.’ Ok, then. What did Gaetz and Jordan ‘signal’ today? Well, Jordan argued that the 600 people being prosecuted for the Jan 6 Insurrection are being investigated by the executive branch. That’s where investigations should be.

This Oleg Deripaska news is a BFD. Take a huge step back and realize what it means when the FBI performs a ‘law enforcement activity’ at 2 separate locations owned by the same individual. A wee thread for perspective 🧵👇🏻 nbcnews.com/politics/justi…
Deripaska was sanctioned by Treasury. home.treasury.gov/news/press-rel…
Todays FBI ‘activity’ had to have been a coordinated effort. The field offices would have been in communication, planning, sharing information. They would have had to have some probable cause for this to have occurred. They would have also needed permission, perhaps warrants.

On October 10, 2020 there was a ‘Patriot Muster’ rally put on by a group called United American Defense Force. The rally was in Denver, CO. The UADF was led by a former Benghazi security contractor named John Tiegen. You’re gonna wanna read this one.🧵👇🏻
You may recall during 2020 there were many protests. The George Floyd protests took place over the summer. Armed men dressed in battle fatigues were patrolling gas stations in Kentucky. Armed men dressed in battle fatigues stormed various State Houses.
As a matter of fact 2020 was so nuts, just 2 days before the UADF’s Patriot Muster in Colorado, the FBI released a statement about a plot to kidnap The Governor of Michigan. Crazy, right? Like, super nuts.

Wow…have you read the testimony of Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen? The link is below. The thread attempts to provide context and highlights what I found to be of some importance. Wow…just…wow. 🧵👇🏻 judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
Chuck Grassley, the Senate Pro Tempore who was poised to step in if Pence didn’t certify the election as per Point 1 in the Eastman Memo, defense of trump is that trump ‘listened to his advisors and didn’t replace Rosen with Clark for not sending the Clark letter so no harm.’📌1
While true-ish it also completely negates the fact that there *was* a Clark letter to begin with. Yes, there was a meeting in the Oval in which 6 of the 7 lawyers present thought the Jeffrey Clark scheme was a bad one. The 7th lawyer was Clark.

The Subverting Justice report released by the Senate Judiciary Committee shows a scheme by former president trump to use the Department of Justice 🗣 to OVERTURN THE 2020 ELECTION. It reveals a lot more than that if we care to look. Here is a wee meaningless thread🧵👇🏻
Some may argue the first impeachment of trump for his quid pro quo with Ukraine on a not perfect phone call was meaningless because the Senate had no intention of convicting their golden goose that laid federal judges and tax breaks for donors.
Some may say that impeaching trump for a second time for inciting an Insurrection was meaningless. He was out of office during the Senate trial. Ted Cruz, a sitting juror in the impeachment, was seen providing aid to trump’s lawyers. It was a sham.
