Nearly everyone understands how dire the world situation is & how dark the future is but far fewer connect those realities to an extremely advanced underlying system of control that exists to ensure that no one - individual, organisation or population - can diverge from this path

What I am telling you is that we are living in the net effect of that system having control. Some will tell you that system is capitalism, others will say it is technocratic, or geocentric, or just a moral deficiency, the nature of humankind, but it's not - its an architecture

An architecture that was designed, consciously constructed, built, tested and honed, refined, in this case across generations and at the largest imaginable scale. I'd say global, but now that system's aspirations & view have expanded even beyond the limitations of this planet.

Meaning, the establishment & subsequent entrenchment of the system of control was a deliberate act. It was not just the unfolding product of human existence. It was literally a plan. And that plan, that system, is what keeps us tied to a destructive and frankly suicidal future.

Studying & documenting the intricacies of the practices of that control system, the advancement of its technology, the processes by which it operates, the methods by which it selects & neutralises targets, is a step towards consciousness but more than education we need action

And action is, more than anything else, what the system is calibrated to prevent. Educating yourself will put you on a list, taking action will put you on a bigger list - encouraging others to take action with you, will put your name at the top of the list. This is the reality.

Being at the top of the list means being targeted in three phases: first your reputation, second your relationships and third, your body. Those of us who know this & still continue to throw ourselves upon the gears of the system create space for others under us to take action.

How systems break down is:

* from overwhelm (en masse action)
* from failure to scale fast enough
* from internal system sabotage
* from breaches

That's why activists, journalists & whistleblowers were top of the target list, but really the system sees every human as a threat

(some) Humans have the capacity to be unpredictable, novel, innovative & to take actions for which the system has to adapt in order to combat.

That is a threat to a system which wants to shove us all into boxes & apply the same methods of suppression to us. Innovation = threat

In the absence of people of conscience within the system being willing to combat it from the inside, then for those of us outside it, combining mass action and innovation is the best chance I see forward

Yes Panquake is innovative & has massive support. But it's just one project

In 2018 I said I didn't want @Unity4J to become one monolithic central organisation. That I wanted many groups in many places to take asymmetric action on their own recognisance: that this is how a global support movement for Julian would not only blossom, but would survive.

That was absolutely the right decision.

Securing the future of humanity requires decentralisation.

When a project like Panquake sprouts, yes people should seize the opportunity & support it with everything they can.

But more importantly they should ALSO start new projects

The issue with Julian & WikiLeaks is that there was only one of them.

(most) People spectated while J tackled the greatest powers in the world over & over again.

We need more Julians. We need more WikiLeaks. We will need more Panquakes too.

Find ways to innovate. Take action

Don't just have a hero, emulate the actions of your hero. In your own geographical space, with whatever ragtag group of people you can pull in around you, put your heads together and work out something you can BUILD that will metaphorically throw a spanner in the works of Empire

Overwhelm by numbers - our strength - and innovation, new ideas - is the last hope we've got. It's the only way to diverge.

And yes you will be attacked. Yes you will be smeared, & you will be sabotaged. You will be hurt.

But if you do nothing - then you submit to far worse.

If you sit transfixed by each bad news item, dismayed at the extent of the damage being inflicted on this planet, if you are feeling defeated - if you simply tut-tut or throw your hands up at each apocalyptic development - you are hastening its progression.

Act. Act. ACT!

Resist the allure of inaction.

Resist the incentives of participating in the system. Yes, they reward you in the short term, but they are a trap that confines you even more than if you became a target by dissenting.

Resist the mainstream that created this situation we're in.

Opt out of compliance with a system that "detects, deflects and deters" opposition.

Don't try and work within a system that is designed to guarantee its own survival by making you expendable.

Embrace your position outside it and build around it.

Innovate & act.
