We kicked off the public delivery by recapping our key development milestones to date
This month we achieved another ENORMOUS development milestone: nodes can now send, receive & most importantly verify encrypted messages on our platform. This is a huge leap forward for PQ!
1/
Thanks in part to funding injected into PQ by @tl_eng subscriptions we're proud to now be at 85% complete on Phase 2 funding. Only 15% to go til we burst into the final phase!! Help us get there ASAP by donating at panquake.com/donate or subscribe: talkliberation.com

Geeky stuff alert! Panquake has now:
* Begun authoring our own custom Panquake messaging protocol (this is hugely significant)
* Moved from dev to testing phase for the authentication service
* Validated P2P network messaging
* Begun process of implementing our microservices
3/
Geeky language like "microservices" might not make a lot of sense to some people so we broke down exactly what we mean when we say it: it's the compartmentalization of key system components to make them way more secure, easier to scale & extend. They fortify the network
4/
This month's @Pan_quake 'State of the Business' testimony comes from the amazing @_taylorhudak, who discusses her past and present experience of working for us as well as her hopes for the future of both Panquake and @tl_eng
5/
Transparency is important to us, so we provided very healthy metrics from our organically-growing privacy-focused internet news service 'Talk Liberation - Your Worldwide Internet Report' (@tl_eng) which is educating users (& us!) as well as providing additional funding to PQ
6/
We discussed the impending launch of 'Talk Liberation Investigates' - a new section of @tl_eng authored by @seanodiggity & myself where in this coming month we will be breaking massively significant exclusive content based on primary source material about very relevant topics
7/
Recently I teased on Twitter that something's coming. 1000's of WikiLeaks supporters will be directly affected by what we will release, several hundred will be deeply personally affected & this exclusive will give the public an enhanced understanding of what's been occurring
8/
And that wrapped our September Public Delivery presentation - our 8th since we first brought an idea to the public and you all threw your support behind us so we could make it a reality. Your continued support will get us through Phase 3 to BETA release & we can't wait!!
You can watch the full public delivery event on our Vimeo channel here:
As a foundation customer & a business owner I need to know when your IT department is going to UNBLOCK your international customers like me from accessing our own accounts & our funds
You haven't tweeted in days & I still can't access my accounts a WEEK later
That means:
1. I can't access account balances 2. I can't transfer money between accounts 3. I can't pay staff 4. I can't make international money transfers
And I have ZERO word from you on when this will be fixed. Not good enough.
@KiwibankNZ persistently claim to customers that service is "intermittent". This is demonstrably false. Service is down 24/7. Their own website (per screenshot at the top of this thread) proves it's because KiwiBank IT staff have configured CloudFlare to block international TLD's
Full thread below detailing all the news, updates, progress & more of our incredible next generation social media development project!
Follow along with me and please share to help spread the news that it's out :) Video link at end of thread
Thanks to the generous support of our community, Panquake now employs 9 full time staff! We've regained all the ground we lost from PayPal censoring us & withholding our funds, & we've raised another $4,551 on top of that, picking up 127 new donors & 113 new @pan_quake followers
We've had another HUGE month of development progress, designing the 8 microservices which will compartmentalise (& make easily extensible for scaleability) the delivery of various types of Panquake data to our users. This is best practice & discussed in much greater detail in vid
We didn't hire a PR team or ad agency. PQ started w/ just volunteers then slowly hired devs, designers & other staff over time as our crowdfunding grew
We're ppl-powered & not corporate-powered which makes us responsive. So ask me anything, I'll respond!
The short answer to what Panquake does, is it's a short messaging system.
Gives you a few more characters than Twitter, but doesn't allow paid advertising, moderation is visible to the whole network, content is published on blockchain so you can prove it hasn't been messed with
We also designed 4 new pieces of functionality that don't exist on any other platform. These new technologies dramatically increase social reach
On Panquake your messages will go far further than on existing social media, be seen by more people. There's more user interaction too
Below you will find all the awesome details (and tons of eye candy) about our July Public Delivery Meeting tonight - and at the bottom of the thread, you'll find the event video link so you can check it out for yourself!!
July is our 6th public delivery event since we brought the idea of Panquake to the world back on Jan 17th of this year. We've never missed a monthly delivery (and never will!)
I guarantee you will be WOWED by the progress we've achieved since then as you follow this thread.

As always we kicked off the event by reviewing our key campaign statistics. (Patience grasshoppers the cool BETA announcements come next!) PayPal withholding 6-7 weeks of donor money & us refunding it all screwed up our stats temporarily but we're recovering nicely despite it
Another nail in the coffin of the idiots claiming I was never a part of Occupy Auckland has surfaced.
In this Jan 14 2012 vid (in which much of my media team is interviewed) both myself & my son, as well as my car, repeatedly appear in the background
At 17:16 that's me walking across the grass behind Ben (Occupy Auckland media team co-ordinator & later Internet Party deputy leader) carrying my son on my hip, taking him to play with Lyn's daughter. Lyn is interviewed in the vid at 11:45.
Yes, THIS Lyn:
The vid at the top of this thread is from the day my media team established Occupy Albert Park, the 4th occupation site of Occupy Auckland
ANYONE who was a part of Occupy Auckland not only knows who I was, but that I & my team were an integral part of establishing the new occs.
I'd like to clarify a few things re the @PayPal censorship of @pan_quake
1. PayPal didn't facilitate refunds. Our staff managed to do it ourselves. 2. PayPal charged fees on all the money they withheld from us 3. PayPal also charged fees on some refunds
This left us short-changed and has resulted in us having to make arrangements to top-up refunds of donors with other funds
So @PayPal didn't just withhold all our donor money from us for 6+ weeks, they also pocketed a bunch of it while leaving some donors & thus us out of pocket
If you are one of the affected donors (anyone who donated to gogetfunding.com/panquake and paid your donation via paypal from May 13th til we cut off PP) & you got refunded less than you donated cos of @PayPal double-dipping pls email support@talkliberation.com & we'll top you up
