So, Dr. Duchin and I were/are having a good conversation about #CoVidIsAirborne, and what was necessary as far as to move this forward. @kprather88 had retweeted it, and so was reading the conversation.

public health doctor, a great aerosol scientist, and a very active advocate (me) in a conversation. Kind of like the pandemic, right?

Then, Twitter gives me two articles in my feed - and a moment of clarity.

A little bit of foreshadow- Lyndon B. Johnson is famous for saying

that if you get an aerosol scientist and an advocate distracted, you can steal from both of them.

His actual comment was a tad racist, so not going to say it - but you get the point.

It turns out that we - the aerosol scientists and advocates have been taken for a ride this entire pandemic.

So, who took us for a ride?

It turns out it was by @DerekKilmer, @RepRickLarsen, @RepKimSchrier, @DennyHeck, @RepDelBene, @RepJayapal, and @GovInslee - all Democratic - and all folks who I liked and respected.

They went to bat for the hospital corporations, and got the CDC

to downgrade the PPE to surgical masks.

They knew it was airborne. They knew our doctors needed airborne PPE. They lobbied the CDC's Redfield under Trump and got him to downgrade the PPE to surgical masks.

Oher organizations were involved, including the

Washington's Department of Public Health. Which Dr. Duchin works for.

So either @DocJeffD has just been shining us on, knowing that the Washington Department of Public Health was involved in the largest betrayal of HCW's in history?

Or he was an innocent bystander.

I'm a little at a loss for words - @BylineTimes @NafeezAhmed? Have you covered this story - what appears to be the largest betrayal of health care workers in history, led by Democrats? From liberal Washington?

Pretty great to see @mmcdiarm, Peg Seminario,@NNUBonnie, and @rweingarten all did their best to head this off at the pass. @brosseau_lisa was NOT happy about this. Neither was @RickOsuno.

So, to close out?

There are no more studies to be done to prove Covid is Airborne or that N95's work better than surgical masks.

All the evidence has been there all along. We've all been played by

some of the most liberal Democrats in bed with the hospital corporations - and the Trump Republicans.

I'll tell you one thing - my family is connected in @DerekKilmer's district, and I am a pretty large donor to him.

We'll be supporting his opponent, even if it's DeSantis.

The Democrats were elected to take care of the pandemic.

Not only did they not take care of the pandemic - but they just decided to to take care of themselves.

This is not a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

It is a pandemic of the politicians.
