🚨 BBC misinformation — viewers were told the flu jab “crucially helps prevent children passing the virus to vulnerable people”.

⚠️ This is misleading. The flu vaccine does not guarantee prevention of transmission.

Vaccinated children can, and do, catch the flu & pass it on.
There is always some spin when it comes to News At Ten, see here during the pandemic....

The BBC ran a segment suggesting Novak Djokovic “should have been triple-jabbed,” despite his natural immunity from two prior infections. You’d be forgiven for wondering whether the BBC saw itself as a news outlet or a vaccine billboard.

🇵🇰 NEW - Pakistan tops UK asylum claims – most arrive on visas, not boats

1⃣ Very few come on dinghies

2⃣ They fly in on visas through our airports

3⃣ Then claim asylum once inside the UK

Is this an abuse of the system?

📊 In the past year, there were 111,000 asylum claims in Britain – the highest on record.

Out of 175 different countries, 1 in 10 claims came from Pakistan – that’s more than any other nationality. Image
But here’s the twist:
👉 Pakistanis are not arriving by small boats.

The majority come to the UK legally first – on visitor, study, work or family visas – and only later switch into the asylum system.

🚨 | UK has pledged a further £2.26bn to Ukraine.

💥The cost of cancelling the winter fuel allowance for pensioners was around £2bn.

We couldn't afford to look after the pensioners though as difficult decisions need to be made.

Time for Starmer to go. Image
In total, the UK has committed £12.8 billion for Ukraine:

£7.8 billion in military support
£5 billion in non-military support

The latest £2.26bn loan for Ukrainian military supplies, will allegedly be repaid using profits from frozen Russian Assets.

The whole thing sounds dodgy to me.
More info here on winter fuel payment costs. They fluctuate with energy prices but cost was estimated around two billion previous tax year.

Would be lower this winter but prices starting to creep back up.

🚜| Average Farm Business Income between £23k - £91k per year depending on type of farm.

💥 NHS Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champion £105k - £139k a year.

🧨 The UK Labour Government trying to destroy farming and putting billions into the NHS resulting in more management.

1️⃣ The NHS manager won't save your life if you fall ill.

2️⃣ The NHS manager won't provide food for your plate. They will a gold plated final salary pension.

3️⃣ The farmer will work considerably more hours in all weather and under the new Government the family may have to sell off parts of the business upon death to pay taxes that go towards funding the NHS manager's pension.

🤯 A Government can prioritise where it spends and takes their money. This Government has got it all wrong.

🚨 | Welsh Labour First Minister Vaughan Gething has reportedly told Labour colleagues the political attacks on him were racially driven.

➡️ Nothing to do with him potentially lying to the Covid Inquiry & taking 200k from a criminal to help get elected?

🚨 | Inflation in the UK is down to 6.8% in July, from 7.9% in June meaning annual prices rising slower.

💥 This was predicted as its mainly due to falling gas and electricity prices & food prices not going up much as a year earlier.

Litttle to do with interest rates going up. Image
In July we saw a reduction in the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) price cap

Monthly gas prices fell by 25.2% between June and July this year, compared with a rise of 0.1% between the same two months a year ago

The timing of the prices changes influencing inflation
We will continue to see inflation fall as energy prices continue to fall

The energy market was a key factor in the high inflation in the first place - and will be a key factor in inflation falling

Interest rate rises have been an irresponsible policy
