Then just to really bring the point home, let’s hop back to this contemporary screenshot posted ≈6 weeks before Daphne’s death / ≈2 days after she posted the “punching down” tweet. (With a “1d” Twitter timestamp on the screenshot, no less.)

The trans community didn’t bully #DaphneDorman for defending #DaveChappelle on Twitter.

That part of Dave’s story was unkind slander against a marginalized community. #Netflix gave it a huge platform without fact-checking.

This #TransAwarenessWeek, STOP SPREADING THE LIE.
