there are 5 plates that you need
to juggle very well all at the same time
before a launch.

(this is sth i am experiencing right now and will share with examples of each, so you can see + learn in action)

1. tech.
2. team.
3. design.
4. marketing.
5. community.

1. tech

in this space, any crack will be
magnified and exploited.
there will 100% be cracks, so what can you do?

- find great devs
- triple check everything with out side teams
- be transparent when you mess up
- bring to awareness
- be vigilant and proactive

ie.
honored to have master dev @0xInuarashi as our advisor, along side @CyberKongz 's very own council to vet through our contract

we still managed to have a crack
but being transparent is everything

bring awareness, educate.
don't do stealth launches
(kills ppl's time + prone to scam attacks)

2. team

ur team is a direct extension of u.
you must be clear of what mission
you are bringing ppl on and
what you value.

- train them.
- empower them.
- inspire them.

when u do this right, this gives u a true power ☺️

ie.
we spent the time to create a manual
to share the vision, the expectations, what we value,
what process to make decisions, etc.

we empower the team to make decisions for themselves and provide tools.

we are the water boy.

as busy as you are
ur team is ur #1 asset.
never neglect them, listen to them.
take the extra step.

3. design

the vision of ur project all comes down to the designs.
- never take "just enough".
- double check, triple check.
- don't rush the process.

our humble beginnings. 😱
we've postponed for over a mth
just to perfect the vision/design
you've only got one shot at this
don't rush it.

4. marketing

this is a huge one to unpack,
which deserves its own thread later on.

in essence
- for majority of projects
its all abt generating as much hype as possible
- for some projects
its all abt managing expectations and
not over hype

what is hype?
more promises --> more imagination of potential
--> more hype --> more demand

THIS is a slippery slope, b/c hype is based on promises and future potential.

which majority of the time,
does not realize or fall flat.

manage ppl's expectation and let the work speak for itself. this is something that is concrete and have substance.

overhype leads to believers getting rekted.
u end up killing the chicken with no more eggs.

short term vs long term 🧠

ie. this is the reason why @thelittlesnft
is holding off on any other announcements.
to prevent believers to get rekted with inflated prices
we hold off until we shake out those in it for short term profits.
then we build tgt.

5. community

this is the most difficult and
the most crucial to begin with.
what does this truly mean?

its means ppl feel like
they have been heard.

that they do matter.

how?

"fill a certain void that is
missing in the marketplace.
serve this underserve group of ppl."

this is by far what i spend
the most time on right now.

i spend a minimum +3hrs/day
replying to comments/msgs
engaging in conversations
taking suggestions.

connecting like a real person.
why?

when you connect
you build trust and
trust is the only reason
why ppl will support u.

this is also the reason why our presale (wl)
is a project on its own.
why we don't just raffle and get it over and done with.

we have 15 mods sifting through thousands
of conversation to find the right ppl to onboard, daily.

we will miss some, but at least we try our best.

final thoughts:
all 5 steps are important.
don't build a three legged table.
build a quality foundation.
spend the time now and your life
becomes a lot simpler down the road.
