Some Islamophobic prick has edited @NazShahBfd's Wikipedia.

This is what Muslims in public life deal with, especially female Muslim MPs.
The same person vandalised @johnmcdonnellMP's Wikipedia too.

This is horrific @Wikipedia. Never mind the vandalism on Naz Shah and John McDonnell by this person, look what they put on the 2017 Finsbury Park Attack page.

Absolutely vile Islamophobia and somehow it got through. You need to do something about this @Wikipedia.

His did that go in 2017 & 2019? People are too tribal, tactical voting doesn't work. Unless we get proportional representation, we are doomed to the status quo of a government who doesn't represent the majority of voters.

Not being Tory shouldn't be your reason to back someone.
2/ For example, why should I have to vote or advocate for Labour, when the party's treatment of Muslims like myself is appalling?

It is truly grim being a Muslim in or for Labour. Our complaints are ignored and the party gaslights us to the media.

My vote is owed to anyone.
3/ It's also pretty unfair to expect people to vote for a candidate they don't agree with. Why should a Green or Lib Dem supporter vote Labour and vice versa. Having more parties should be a good thing, but our system means Red or Blue.

Children may be taught the horrors of war, but when poppy season arrives, war adults glamorise it.

Veterans are pushed onto a pedestal they don't want. Emblazoning everything with a poppy doesn't help us either.

Our dead friends are used to divert from the horror & suffering.
.@joejglenton is right. Remembrance should be solemn like a funeral.

Selling Grenade themed Gin, having postbox cozy competitions & building a tacky military scene in your mum's garden ain't it.

STOP making it a commercial or PR event.

Wear a standard poppy & stop there.
And nobody talks about the horrors of modern war British troops have faced.

Seeing your best mate vaporised and then having to collect their remains was the same in 2007 as in 1914.

Veterans don't tend to want reminding of war everywhere they go. We aren't yours to co-opt.

Oddly, she's following this no picture account from 2012 with 289 followers.

Robert Peston's client journalism spree this week:

Cites Matt Hancock's reason for his UN role loss as fact, despite @pass_blue clearly stating the real reason: Not correct channels.

Praises Mark Francois on misogyny, despite knowing of his arrest for Rape & Sexual Assault.
2/ I am sick of political journalists with huge platforms putting out politician's excuses as fact, without bothering to check anything.

They treat us like idiots. They're too scared to actually do any journalism.

Mainstream UK political journalism is so bad it's depressing.
3/ There is nothing wrong with reporting what a politician says, it's important they do.

However, when they report that as gospel without bothering to so even the most basic due diligence, it's a complete failure of standards, some might argue it's intentional.

BREAKING - Former UK HealthSecretary @MattHancock has had the offer of a role on the UN Economic Commission for Africa WITHDRAWN by the United Nations.
