Have to feel sympathy for the Modi bhakts. They spent so much time and energy to defend the new #farmlaws only to have Modi announce that he's taking them back 😂
Even though it was the upcoming Punjab and UP elections that prompted him to repeal the farm laws, one must also give homage to the resilience, patience and strength of the farmers who protested for over a year to bring about this change.
Victory belongs to those who believe in it the longest. Sikhs have never backed down from fear of adversity, retribution or scorn. They tried their mightiest to discredit the resistance movement but like always, the indomitable spirit of "Nischay kar apni jeet karhu" won.
On that note, Happy Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birth anniversary to everyone. Guru Nanak himself was a farmer who tilled land in his final years.
If you're a true follower and admirer of Guru Nanak, don't burst firecrackers today. Guru ji saw God in all his creation. Learn to love it.

Hey I have an idea for all those who are convinced that the repealed farm laws were good for the farmers. Get farmers to organise a protest on Delhi border in support of the laws. You can use the tents and trolleys already there. No roads will be dug up to stop you.
No media house will call you Khalistanis or terrorists or anti nationals or tukde tukde gang. They will infact suport your protest in favour of the God sent farm laws that'll transform every farmer into an Ambani.
There will be no water cannons used on you. There will be no lathi charge. No BJP MLA will bring an army of goons to throw stones at you in presence of police. No one will question you if "nationalists" bring pizzas or leg massage machines for you. I promise.
My last tweet was a test to see how my followers, who are predominantly of liberal leaning will react to the concept of violence.
I want to know what your opinion about violence is. Is it positive or negative?
A thread.
ਦੰਗਿਓ ਹਮ ਕਿੰਮ ਟਰੈਂ ਦੰਗੋ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਤ।
"Why would I be scared of violence? Violence is my caste, my identity."
In Sikhism, violence is not suppressed. It's celebrated. Not because it's "negative" but because it has the potential to be "positive" for the world.
Imagine a surgeon with a knife.
Now imagine a dacoit with a knife.
The doctor will use that knife to give life to someone. A dacoit will use the knife to end someone's life. It's the same knife. But the violence, (for what is surgery, if not violence against disease) gives life.
I have some bad news for some of you. Sikhs don't owe you an explanation. We have survived over five hundred years without your validation. We will survive another five thousand. Don't like Langar? Don't eat at one. Don't like Sikhs? Move to Nepal. This is our country.
One advantage of this whole protest is that atleast the pretence is over. Atleast your bigotry is at full display. We don't crave your indulgence. Think what you want. If our gurus' sacrifices cannot sway you we can't. Roll on tje feces of your hatred. Enjoy yourself.
We will keep doing what we've always been doing. Serving the needy, protecting the weak. Wearing and using weapons to protect the oppressed. Your Zee news and Sudarshan TV won't change us. Aurangzeb wasn't able to. So what are you?
If I say anything the darkness won't tolerate it
If I stay silent what will the lamps say about me
If my song dies this night
How will my friends tolerate me
