LMA played great again and he's absolutely a must-start guy in games cap formats. Harder to deal with on the rest days in h2h but he's been so good lately he probably hangs on even there. Mills is a nice stream with Harris out.
Markkanen and Allen came back from various illnesses and looked great. Fire 'em up! Kevin Love is somehow hanging onto deep league value but his little baby-sized window to play more is gone. As is Ed Davis. Isaac Okoro needs to show me more consistency before I add there.
No real valuation changes from this one. Just kinda hoping Beal remembers how to shoot eventually.
I mentioned on the pod that Dinwiddie was starting to slip back into his old numbers. He's a sell if you can get a top-80 guy back. Maybe even top-90.
Gafford remains a HOLD with almost no question in my mind. He was a made FT and a made shot away from the line you were banking on when drafting, basically.
Sengun was efficient and those garbage time mins are going to come in handy down the line. Fouls will be a problem when he starts seeing more 1st or 2nd stringers. Keep the luxury stash going if you can, and nights like this make it a bit easier.
Armoni Brooks outplayed the "names" on Houston and I continue to maintain this team is best avoided, for the most part. It's a wasteland. They might end up being the worst fantasy team in half a decade with no one inside the top-150 currently.
Tatum had another nice game and he's up near the edge of the top-30 after the ice cold start. One of the easiest buy low recs of all time.
Marcus Smart was playing well but got hurt and we'll keep an eye on that.
Schroder loses out the most with Jaylen Brown back.
You're HOLDing on Schroder for now, but if the assists dry up that's the sign.
No SGA, so we got to see Giddey play some more traditional PG and it was cool. But SGA likely back and we're still a solid 3.5 months away from any egregious tanking.
Robinson-Earl is RIGHT on the edge of interesting. Speculative add if you can or just watch.
The Hawks got production from everyone. Bogi played and that'll limit Huerter's upside, though Kevin had 5 assists to float this line. He's more streamer level for me.
Vanderbilt has been on a little heater the last 3-4 games, so you might as well ride it. I'm still not sure it sticks all year but worth a shot for the boards and defensive stats in case he and KAT have finally figured out how to exist together on offense.
McDaniels actually played more mins than Vanderbilt but I think you have to trust in the starter more in situations like this.
Similar reasoning on Pat Beverley. Wolves have won 5 in a row and he's been rocking. Ride it.
NAW got sent to the bench and he's basically been a cut for 2-3 weeks but this solidifies it. Streamer type for me here, too. If JV misses any time, listen carefully to which center (Willy or Hayes) is set to get the playing time. I like Hayes' fantasy game more but ...
...either one could be worth a short term burst for some big man stats. Probably more interesting in roto where you have unlimited moves, since this might be an add/drop without playing a game type of scenario if JV is okay.
Indy just loves blowouts. Good or bad side. This was a good one for 'em. The usual suspects showed up along with this continuing mini-run for Justin Holiday (I'm not adding).
I got some LeVert drop questions, and I have a few thoughts there:
First off, what were you doing drafting someone who was actively battling a stress reaction. We've talked about drafting injured guys.
Second, no, you can't drop outright. He was a top-75 guy with this very same roster last year and he's clearly playing at less than 100%
You definitely bench in roto and you probably try to just hang in there in H2H and hope for lines that aren't too stank.
As for TJ McConnell, he's close to getting shifted down to streamer level. His assists and steals just aren't coming fast enough. They still might!
And he's been okay enough to where he's not sinking H2H teams and you can just bench in roto, so there's no huge hurry, here, but he's sliding toward the guy that I push off the raft in emergency.
Just chill on Chicago. This was a first game back home and they weren't mentally there. Oops.
Apologies, second game back after the marquee one with NYK. Either way, they were drunk or something.
Turns out Orlando really needs Cole Anthony back. They won't play the Bucks every game, contrary to what the last 3 days might suggest, so probably just try to forget this one happened and start the 2 Bigs and don't screw around with other stuff.
Franz Wagner was more or less floating his stat line with steals, so he's now fallen out of starter zone. Stream if you like but I don't think he's a must-roster guy.
The Bucks ended this game after 2 quarter, so it's tough to find normalcy in the box score. Jrue got going a little bit and that's about all I'd take from this one.
Super weird game for Phoenix but they found a win despite CP3 not really being involved. No valuation shifts here so I'm just not going to worry about it and move along to the Spurs side.
I have no idea how I keep getting questions about Devin Vassell. He's been a must-start guy for the last 3+ weeks. @aaronbruski had you draft him. Anyway, please stop asking. Just start him. Please.
Poeltl is a go, though his FT stroke killed things tonight.
Memphis with a wild comeback. JJJ and Ja were monsters late and without Brooks/Melton around Desmond Bane is free to jack up 20 shots and hit 12 of 'em. Addition by subtraction for fantasy purposes.
When the team gets healthy you probably go back to holding all 3 (Brooks, Bane, Melty) and give it a little more time to settle. We don't know if maybe some of the mins moving around was injury related and I'd rather not whiff on a stud in there. So just sit on 'em all.
Hey hey Rudy! The big line moves him into the middle of the 2nd round (again). He's playing every night (again), and this is basically how I ended up as "the Rudy Gobert guy" during draft season.
Oh, I also keep getting asked about the Jazz backup guards/wings. Drop 'em.
Thybulle has his wind back, so that's rad. Fire it up! Maxey and Drummond were the other 2 guys I said I trust. Everyone else is a dice roll.
For the Kings, no obvious changes other than Buddy Hield being freed from Luke Walton's icy ...
grip.
Let's hope they learn to fight a bit more and actually run offense in the 4th instead of isos. They blew a decent lead and scored 4 points in the final half a quarter, basically.
Marvin Bagley saw 12 mins, but if a tree falls in the woods, etc...

Look at big JaVale. Hah! I have a soft spot for him, and honestly he hasn't been that bad lately. He's a dynamite fill-in if Ayton misses time again down the road. In the interim, he's more of a 14 or 16 teamer. Still fun, though.
Kevin Love is very much in the streamer discussion but not a games cap level guy. Jarrett Allen's FG% is robust. But overall, no particularly earth-shattering fantasy valuation changes.
