The startup claims to deliver anything in less than 10 mins 🤯

Its called Zepto and here is everything about it 👇

The founders Kaivalya V. and Aadit Palicha are Stanford dropouts.

In the last 8 months, Zepto has raised over $60M and is in talks of raising $100M

So what is It basically?

A grocery delivery app which claims to deliver in 10 mins

Well, that's it!

Yes, that means you can ask mummy to chill and enjoy your video games and even save petrol money 😅

Amazon started same-day delivery,

Dominos started 30 mins delivery,

Now Zepto claims to cut it even down.

Now, why is it significant?

because 10 mins are what it will take you to get out of your house, reach the grocery store next to your house, buy and come back.

Wait, it might take you more than 10 mins 😅

But how does Zepto do it?

They are leveraging technology to ace the “dark store” model

Dark store uses data to setup micro centres in every micro hub,

where most commonly sold inventory is stored.

It also factors weather, traffic conditions, and others.

Once the order is placed, it takes less than 10 mins to everything

From packing, moving out, and handling multiple orders while keeping the costs in check.

One of the Co-founders claimed that with their model;

it takes just 1 MINUTE to pack and dispatch the delivery with their model.

Insane right?

While players like Swiggy, Dunzo, Bigbasket, Amazon, and Grofers are already operating in the market,

Also, Reliance acquired Milkbaset is also not going to leave any room for bottlenecks.

And, how can we forget about Jio Mart?

So, it’s going to be tough competition for the young lads.

For now, Zepto plans to expand to 100 dark stores in a year to fulfil instant deliveries

One of the founders also said that revenues are growing by 200% every month

I am sure if Zepto cracks the model at scale,

10 min delivery would be the new norm very soon.
