1/ Friends are priceless when we are talking Statin damage. My friend Chris, who was a male nurse was so badly harmed by the drug aged 28, that he had to retire early. That said he received this mail from a Doctor friend.

/2
2/ "It is E mails like this that make the hell I went through and continue to go through worth every bit of it...
"Hi Chris, hope you are keeping well. Thank you so much for this invaluable information. As 45 year old active male Doctor
3/ My total cholesterol as 6.6 started me on Sandoz Bezafibrate. Last year I was started on Simvastatin but refused to continue due to SERIOUS muscle cramps, lethargy and brain fogginess. With the information you shared I feel much better informed wrt lifestyle choices.
4/ I think you saved my life!! God Bless. Please forward me any additional information and feel free to add me to your groups."
Note: As a Doctor I DO NOT tell people to not take drugs, I simply afford them the luxury I, and SO MANY OTHERS are not afforded, INFORMED CONSENT...
5/ I want people to know the very real dangers/risks of the drugs our pushers are doling out like tic tacs, and the very real ABSOLUTE RISK REDUCTIONS And Numbers Needed to treat so they can make a truly informed decision.
6/ I mean, had I known that Lipitor's chance at preventing a heart attack or stroke were less than 2%, and that my chance of harm was almost quadruple that, I think I would have chosen to not allow my Mitochondrial DNA to be mutated, and certainly would not have taken
7/ something (Lipitor) which Assassinated my brain cells, and definitely would have NOT chosen the Neuropathy that it left me with. But In many ways I can still be an RN again, (Less money, but seriously as rewarding)
Peace'

1/ Seriously I need to take a break from Twitter. The more I see (Statin Damage), the more I realise the impact on my own health. Frustration, Stress, etc. These are unintended consequences of Statin Drugs, and I really need to cut off for a while, but before I go ⬇️

2/ Statins forum AGAIN ! "In Dec 2015 my doc finally WON & I agreed to Statins for my 250 cholesterol level. He put me on 20mg of Lipitor. After a week I called the pharmacist because I was having muscle weakness and my bones ached at night. Went off it for a week and was fine
/3
3/ He then switched me to 40mg Pravastatin. Was on that until Oct 2020 when my ALS symptoms were happening. Earlier in Jan 2020 I had the stomach flu, then in Feb I got the first shingles shot. Shortly after hurt my back lifting weights so took it easy for a few months.

1/ It is my belief that infectious agents are primarily responsible for Heart Disease. Endocarditis is a rare & potentially fatal infection of the inner lining of the heart (the endocardium). It's most commonly caused by bacteria entering the blood & travelling to the heart.

/2
2/ The bacteria that infect the gums and cause gingivitis and periodontitis also travel to blood vessels elsewhere in the body where they cause Atherosclerosis, blood vessel inflammation and damage; tiny blood clots, heart attack and stroke may follow.

/3
3/ Supporting this idea is the finding of remnants of oral bacteria within Atherosclerotic blood vessels far from the mouth. Then again, antibiotic treatment has not proven effective at reducing cardiovascular risk.

1/ Many of you know me because of my stance on Statin drugs. I have spent many hours over the past 14 years talking to Statin 'victims', trying to find out how they can recover from this drug, and how the drug has destroyed their health - NEEDLESSLY

/2
2/ This lengthy tweet is worth the effort, if it stops just one person going down the Statin route. It is from a dear friend that I got to know while I was on the FB Statins forum. He was 26 years old when prescribed the drug.

/3
3/This is his story: " 19 Years ago yesterday, Oct 11, 2002, I was admitted to UW Madison Hospital in an End-Stage Alzheimer's like state, I could not walk, could not speak coherently, could not feed myself, nor communicate the need to use the restroom, so I wet and soiled

1/ Cancer researchers across the world in the last couple of years have found numerous connections between deworming drugs and the decline of cancerous tissue. In 2017, Norwegian scientists found that NTZ, a common anti-parasite drug, killed cancer cells

2/ by decomposing activated beta-catenin. Professor Karl-Henning Kalland of the University of Bergen and leader of the research team who discovered this phenomenon stated, “We discovered that this specific substance is blocking the signaling pathway in the cancer cells…

/3
3/ It is not often that researchers discover a substance that targets specific molecules as precisely as this one,” (“Parasite Killer Too Found to Be Effective Cancer Treatment Candidate,” 2018). Additionally, Kalland’s team discovered that reducing beta-catenin enhanced the

1/ YAY Thank goodness for sanity. Statins forum today " Stopped my statins 18 months ago, after having taken them for 28 years. Aside from the constant muscle pains and memory loss, spasms, cataracts, arythmia, etc what finally prompted me to quit is elevated liver enzymes
/2
2/ and the beginnings of kidney problems. My course of action was to cleanse my body from Statins, get my liver in good shape and get a CAC score to see if I do have an actual problem with heart disease despite my elevated Cholesterol.

/3
3/ After all, that's the reason Docs tell us we should be taking Statins in the first place. I got news today that my CAC score is 0.8, heart echo & carotid doppler are perfectly normal. This puts me at a 2.3% risk of a coronary event over 10 years, without Statins!

1/ "As always the results of Statin therapy are, to say the least, dramatic.

"In patients with heterozygous FH, moderate- to high-intensity statin therapy lowered the risk for CAD and mortality by 44%".

Wow. But why the need for a composite end point?

/2
2/ If we leave aside soft end points which include coronary re-vascularisation (never influenced by serum lipid levels. No laughing at the back there!) and concentrate on the hard end point of all cause mortality we end up with, for non statinated people:

/3
3/ 9 deaths per 4,892 person-years, which I make 1.8 deaths per 1000 person-years.

On a statin we have 17 deaths per 11,674 person-years, 1.5 per 1000 person-years.

That looks like a reduction in mortality of 0.3 people per 1000 person-years.
