Do we want to focus on making progress or do we want to make everyone happy? Every single day we are out messaged and out organized. We can continue with the delusional optimism that’s brought us here or we can address the fact that as it stands- we are our own worst enemy.
The lack of self awareness is truly insane. How can people expect to build a completely new system and society if they can’t even run their own organizations?
Progressives need to do some real reflection on how we can be a movement that brings people in rather than pushing the few we already have out.

The constant emphasis on purity through the weapon of cult like retributive justice is not only destructive to the movement- it goes against the philosophy of restorative justice many, if not most progressives say we stand for.
