🧵🪡 @HAv2RtrnVdeoTps a day late but, On Thanksgiving. I am thankful to be born in such a time as this. As we go through this fourth turning, I know not what the future holds, but I know that I will do my best to play my part in bending the arc of history as others have before.1
I grew up reading about heroes, both mythical like Ivanhoe and real like Swamp Fox(Francis Marion), who, when their time came, rose to their trial and helped their community through the trying time. 2/6
When I read about history and the great and yet imperfect people that helped shape our history, I have always wondered what I would do at the time. Would I have the courage to take the road less traveled, to sacrifice something for what I believed? 3/6
I still do not know, only time will tell that tale, but I hope the life I have lived before will have prepared me for what is to come. When the framers signed the Declaration of Independence, they laid it all on the line. 4/6
Pledging their lives, their fortune, and their sacred honor, knowing that if they were caught by the British or lost the war, they would be executed for treason, and yet still they signed uncertain of their future. 5/6
I look forward to walking this path with others as we face an inflection point in history and discovering the answer to questions I have asked myself since I was a boy. Thanks for reading, the painting is the Polish hussars at the siege of Vienna helping stop the Ottoman Empire6/
🧵So I’m going to try to put this simply, there is this thing called natural law, you know inalienable rights? The most basic of these is the right to self defense of one, other innocents and their property. (Btw this is where the idea of free speech comes from too)
Then there is this little thing where the founding fathers sought to recognize the existence of this human right. 2nd amendment “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”
Why does the tool used to defend one’s self matter? Its an inanimate object, how an individual uses it matters. Kyle used it to save his life and others, if he didnt have a semi auto he’d be dead, he had to fire 3 shots in .4 of a second.
🧵🪡 With the FBI surveillance footage that entered into the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, the FBI’s sizeable aerial surveillance program has come back into the public eye. I have read about the program previously and decided to do some research 1/20 web.archive.org/web/2021111100…
and ended up with more questions than answers. It turns out it is a rather extensive program, and before we get to the questions I still have, I want to lay out some facts about the program that I’ve found in the public domain. 2/20
1. Many Federal agencies have extensive air fleets that they use for a variety of tasks, including surveillance. 3/20 web.archive.org/web/2021111101…
Good article, his father sounds like a wise man. “Victimhood had no place in his life and there were no excuses for doing anything less than our best. His legacy was one of accomplishment; not maudlin self-pity.”
As a non Jew with a particular interest in WW2 I think the biggest mistake has been the idea of not talking about the holocost and specifically not talking freely about the lead up to it that started in 1933, so many dont understand the significance of the T4 program that
Targeted the mentally ill and handicap with forced sterilization or murder, it was T4 that did R&D for the death camps, or the 1936 Olympic Games that gave Hitler much sought legitimacy, they took down all the Juden-Frei signs just for the few weeks
This project is almost two years in the making and is my interpretation of a modern-day London Best matched set of custom 9mm 2011 pistols. As you know, any matched pair must come with a case that would nestle the pistols and proper tools for what any gentleman/woman would need
to show up fully prepared for their duel or shooting range trip. I have always liked the historical idea of designing a matched pair of pistols; additionally, there is a reason why the practice started in the first place. I uniquely chose each feature to adapt best
to my disabilities, design sensibility, and intended uses. It made sense to have one carry version and one external training option/backup. The bag itself was a labor of love with Michael Noelle Leatherworx, who helps make the designs in my head manifest themselves into reality.
