🏴8 y.o. Cameron from Stonehaven #Scotland was hospitalized at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow on life support because of heart failure due to multi-system inflammatory syndrome from COVID #TheySurvivedCovidnottinghampost.com/news/boy-8-lef…
When he tested positive for Covid he showed no symptoms, and was quickly "back to his usual self".
But a few weeks later, he developed a lump on his neck (lymphadenopathy) & rashes on his body.
4 days later while watching TV, he complained to his mum that his vision was blurry.
At the hospital, Cameron deteriorated quickly and his heart began to fail.
Medics placed him in an induced coma and he was flown from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Cameron pulled through but James and Lorraine have issued a stark warning to parents to be aware of symptoms after admitting they knew nothing about PIMS before their son fell ill.
