Came across this interesting map and guess what only two missing ones in this map are - @BJP4India and @cpimspeak

Often in a democracy, people tend to use different terms interchangeably- for ex dynasty & personality cult -latter is an integral part of democracy, former is not!
In this 75th year of independence, 2 things clearly stand out
# More than the @BJP4India, it is PM @narendramodi who has come to occupy the principal pole position in our polity
# His adversaries are mostly an incongruous/motley group of 'family enterprises' or political parties
A political figure becoming a principal pole of our politics is something Indians have always been used to since 1947; but PM @narendramodi 's taking over that position is a new change as he is the 1st leader to have risen to that position outside of both-Gandhi family & congress
Unlike popular belief, never in our post 47 history, was Cong a pole of Indian politics-it was always about the Nehru-Gandhi family- why this party & its leaders- irrespective of their clout- can imagine life outside Gandhi family; & those who did, end up forming their own Cong!
PM @narendramodi 's ascension or rise was largely aided by both, his ability to fill the vacuum that got created in Indian politics & also BJPs rise coinciding with the downfall of the Cong.

PM, by his work, has not only consolidated his position but he stands out as well!
PM @narendramodi-other than his mom-has no family or a person to attach to-meaning he doesn't need to cultivate any dynasty nor amass wealth. Now in such a situation, it is but natural that he will get attached to the cause & hence will leave behind a legacy of unmatched work.
So who all are challenging PM @narendramodi?

Well, amongst his adversaries,u can count approximately 30 family-owned parties, spanning from Kashmir to Kanyakumari & from Maharashtra to Meghalaya thus proving how nepotism is rampant across politics & for no fault of Modi or BJP
Politics, for these families, is a mere tool,to settle their dynasts. All these political families treat Indian democracy as a loose conglomerate of monarchies where they hold right to pass on the mantle to their progeny-so Karunanidhi led to Stalin,Faroukh to Omar, Pawar to Sule
In @narendramodi , all these political family enterprises in states and Nationally by Congress, have a common enemy; one whose continuance will hasten the death of their dynasties. UP will see this first but this trend will pick speed & hence they all making a last-ditch effort!
Of all these dynasties, Nehru Gandhi dynasty stands out - not only do they consider it their birthright to rule India but imagine how they have even used awards to create a halo around their family flagbearers- Nehru, Indira & Rajiv are all Bharat Ratna-thankfully 2014 happened!
Thankfully 2014 happened, else by now Italian mumma of @RahulGandhi and @priyankagandhi would have been a Bharat Ratna by now for her selfless service of giving up Turin in favor of 400 AQI New Delhi!
Call it bankruptcy of leadership or problem of extreme subservience to one family, that Country's oldest party, even today, has not been able to find a suitable candidate for the Congress President outside the Nehru -Gandhi family.
The culture of 'family control' over the parties was started by Congress and it has been carried forward by many families in different states. As it stands today, it has become almost like cancer in regional politics
Dr Ram Manohar Lohia-who initiated socialism in politics, was hugely opposed to the dynasty politics of the dynasty. I truly wonder what his soul must be thinking of looking at two last surviving self-proclaimed Lohiaites - the two Yadavs of Bihar & UP!
Founded in 1992 by Mulayam Singh Yadav, SPs current President is his son Akhilesh Yadav. His wife Dimple Yadav is a Party MP from Kannauj. Other than her, 4 other members of Mulayam Singh family are either MPs or MLAs
Lalu Yadav, the most famous disciple of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, has also raised his family's flag in politics. Encashing his rich harvest of 9 kids, his RJD is firmly under the control of his 2 sons, his wife, brother-in-law and daughter with 6 other kids waiting in the wings!
NCP, formed in 1999 by @Pawarspeaks has followed the word "Bhai-Bhateejawaad" in both letter and spirit- his party is well & truly controlled between 3 generations of 'Pawar family' including his nephew & daughter!
Thanks to Karunanidhi's 50 years long presidentship of DMK, his youngest son assumed the office of TN CM at a ripe yet youthful age of 68. His other son formed his own party & daughter is a MP- don't ask about their moms as I am not certain which of the 3 bore them!
The list is endless with Thackerays, Abdullahs, Owaisis, Gowdas, Raos, Badals, Sangamas, etc etc jostling for space amongst this august list!

At times one begins to wonder when will these political parties and their leaders get freedom from the slavery of these dynasties!
On the occasion of Constitution Day, PM @narendramodi made a clear distinction between people from the political family joining a political party and political parties being run by the same family generation after generation such that they act as "by the family & for the family!
It does speak volumes of PM @narendramodi 's character that, despite commanding an enviably powerful position, he has NOT at all promoted any member of his family - immediate or distant one. That level of detachment also shows up in d way he went about democratising Padma awards!
History is replete with examples of political dynasties using doles and awards to build constituencies and cheerleaders for the dynasts or to create a halo around the flagbearers of those very dynasties.
While both Nehru & Indira received Bharat Ratna during their prime ministerships, Rajiv got it posthumously and no one questioned it despite severe corruption charges against him! These families then distributed doles amongst their favourites thus creating a chain of nepotism!
So much so that MGR got Bharat Ratna ahead of Sardar Patel and Dr BR Ambedkar....imagine!
To @narendramodi ‘s credit not only did he bring respect & order back in awarding of Bharat Ratna by correcting historical wrongs; he brought prestige back to Padma- focusing on recognising real doers rather than rewarding cheerleaders like @ShekharGupta

Hindu’s consolidation on political lines has made enemies of Hindus to try all kinds of propaganda & easiest is to drive a wedge in the Hindu society on caste lines by making one caste show an enemy of other n vice versa. That is showing up via rise of Bhim Army & casteist forces
Misuse of SC ST act happens & repeal of law is NO solution. Hindu society need to come together & not let few wrongful & motivated cases n forces to divide larger Hindu society.

India is a country of 1.3 billion & few hundred/thousand cases must not pit one caste against other!
Here is the statistics of cases filed under SC ST act last year! Image

Bring it on @Shubham_fd - file a case. BTW u talked of reversal of cases in Jind.
I will share local view as well with video to show show u r resorting to motivated reporting to further the agenda that u r circulating for long.

Fake SCST case is a reality but so is ur reporting Image
There is a local journalist - Pardeep Sandhu of The Local Express and I have spoken to him on the telephone no given in his video- @Shubham_fd u can also talk to him as his extensive video of almost 70 mins is enough to show the real truth unlike urs.
So Pardeep Sandhu-I don’t care what his political views are.

Per him:
1. Cases are on- only arrests have not taken place
2. He has covered both views -

UC view (Rajesh’s Supporters)

Accuser (Gurmeet’s version)

“I visited the Vishwanath temple last evening, and as I was walking through those lanes, these were the thoughts that touched me. If a stranger dropped from above on to this great temple, and he had to consider what we as Hindus were, would he not be justified in condemning us? ImageImage
“Is not this great temple a reflection of our own character? I speak feelingly, as a Hindu. Is it right that the lanes of our sacred temple should be as dirty as they are? The houses round about are built anyhow. The lanes are tortuous and narrow.” Gandhi on 4th Feb 1916
“If even our temples are not models of roominess and cleanliness, what can our self-government be? Shall our temples be abodes of holiness, cleanliness and peace as soon as the English have retired from India, either of their own pleasure or by compulsion, bag and baggage?”

My quoted tweet attracted a lot of vile abuse-majority of the tweets objected to my calling out @Shubham_fd of @FDikhana for dividing Hindus by constantly harping on the UC-SC divide in North!
That SC-ST act is misused is a known reality & not Newton type discovery by Sharma Ji!
So @Shubham_fd reported abt a Hathras case where SC-ST court of Hathras acquitted 23 accused after 6 years. That tweet was a careful wordplay showing as if it was his initiative that brought closure to those 23 men - then came "SUPPORT" appeal citing Jind!
The real issue is not what @Shubham_fd reports but how he reports-the case that he reported on falanadikhana.com/sc-st-act-case… - Since his template is set, reducing a 21-page order to mere 3 paras is super easy and that this what he has mastered-coz final narrative is set-BJP is anti UC! Image

While I understand outrage on this decision but let me also write a thread about the fact how parali burning debate has never been addressed in right perspective. It is important to stress on the fact that solution to this prob lies in addressing what caused it in 1st instance
As someone who has spent a decade in Delhi until 2011, I do remember how this problem of Oct/Nov smog started around 2010. I had written abt it in the past as well but can’t find those tweets-Badal Govt passed PUNJAB PRESERVATION OF SUBSOIL WATER ACT in 09
dswcpunjab.gov.in/contents/docs/…
This Act was passed in the name of preserving groundwater- blamed on rice fields. It is widely held that rice fields use too much water. So Punjab Govt came up with this law & barred farmers from sowing rice in April & forced them to do this only towards the mid June

Here is the text of the PM’s Constitution Day speech at SC yesterday - pib.gov.in/PressReleseDet…

Requesting volunteers to please translate at least court related aspects of this seminal speech into various other languages - Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Odiya etc.
As against INCLUSION philosophy of Constitution, governance was abt exclusion.

Last 7 yrs saw real inclusive governance-2 cr houses,8 cr gas connections, health cover to 50 cr & Garib Kalyan ration to 80 cr is all that & so are govt’s development efforts!
All the governance efforts are abt developing every corner of the country in the same manner as Delhi & Mumbai. Our efforts have shown results via National Family Health Survey report as well as improvement in various parameters like Gender equality etc
