My quoted tweet attracted a lot of vile abuse-majority of the tweets objected to my calling out @Shubham_fd of @FDikhana for dividing Hindus by constantly harping on the UC-SC divide in North!
That SC-ST act is misused is a known reality & not Newton type discovery by Sharma Ji!
So @Shubham_fd reported abt a Hathras case where SC-ST court of Hathras acquitted 23 accused after 6 years. That tweet was a careful wordplay showing as if it was his initiative that brought closure to those 23 men - then came "SUPPORT" appeal citing Jind!
The real issue is not what @Shubham_fd reports but how he reports-the case that he reported on falanadikhana.com/sc-st-act-case… - Since his template is set, reducing a 21-page order to mere 3 paras is super easy and that this what he has mastered-coz final narrative is set-BJP is anti UC!
As tweet by @ravitgautamwas was civil so I responded to him saying same thing as I have said in thread-prob is MOTIVATED reporting of @Shubham_fd which shows one caste as victim & other as perpetrator knowing well it is societal issue/ village politics

Yes the folks have been acquitted, yes act was misused but nature of these cases is that no party can conclusively prove it - hence acquittal are bound to happen for want to witness!
Acquittal in majority of the cases is because it is next to impossible to prove verbal violence etc unless you have recordings available....same thing has happened in this case as well as also in 5 cases determined by same court in past 1 months services.ecourts.gov.in/ecourtindia_v4…

Go thryu all 4 judgements of quoted tweet- in all cases, Act was used to settle scores thus proving how it is more a case of village politics and societal issue of North rather than state-sponsored victimisation as @Shubham_fd is trying to show!
Coming back to the Act, if misuse happens- of course, it happens and that is why we have a judiciary.
It is a crude reality that this act has acted as a deterrent in our society, else every one of us wud be hearing casteist slurs several times in a day...accept this reality!
Talking of casteist slurs,often even educated folks quote castes liberally while expressing their anger against someone. So to expect that SC-STs in our villages don't face casteist slurs is laughable.

Draconian nature of ACT made it impossible to use it
Coming back to the real issue-type of divide, caste groups are trying to create in Hindu society is unsettling & damaging for the faith. This trend has gained momentum after Hindu consolidation led political consolidation. All the attempts are aimed @ breaking political unity!
Instead of abusing me, go through the TL of @Shubham_fd & his @FDikhana -platforms where his byline appears-everything has a clear pattern. He is acting as a pawn in the larger game- game is to drive a wedge in society by showcasing BJP as a perpetrator- sadly m@r@ns, buying it!
Why would anyone write for a platform funded by Chinese Communist party- Asia Times!

Hindu’s consolidation on political lines has made enemies of Hindus to try all kinds of propaganda & easiest is to drive a wedge in the Hindu society on caste lines by making one caste show an enemy of other n vice versa.That is showing up via rise of Bhim Army & casteist forces
Misuse of SC ST act happens & repeal of law is NO solution. Hindu society need to come together & not let few wrongful & motivated cases n forces to divide larger Hindu society.

India is a country of 1.3 billion & few hundred/thousand cases must not pit one caste against other!

There is a local journalist - Pardeep Sandhu of The Local Express and I have spoken to him on the telephone no given in his video- @Shubham_fd u can also talk to him as his extensive video of almost 70 mins is enough to show the real truth unlike urs.
So Pardeep Sandhu-I don’t care what his political views are.

Came across this interesting map and guess what only two missing ones in this map are - @BJP4India and @cpimspeak

Often in a democracy, people tend to use different terms interchangeably- for ex dynasty & personality cult -latter is an integral part of democracy, former is not!
In this 75th year of independence, 2 things clearly stand out
# More than the @BJP4India, it is PM @narendramodi who has come to occupy the principal pole position in our polity
# His adversaries are mostly an incongruous/motley group of 'family enterprises' or political parties
A political figure becoming a principal pole of our politics is something Indians have always been used to since 1947; but PM @narendramodi 's taking over that position is a new change as he is the 1st leader to have risen to that position outside of both-Gandhi family & congress

While I understand outrage on this decision but let me also write a thread about the fact how parali burning debate has never been addressed in right perspective. It is important to stress on the fact that solution to this prob lies in addressing what caused it in 1st instance
As someone who has spent a decade in Delhi until 2011, I do remember how this problem of Oct/Nov smog started around 2010. I had written abt it in the past as well but can’t find those tweets-Badal Govt passed PUNJAB PRESERVATION OF SUBSOIL WATER ACT in 09

This Act was passed in the name of preserving groundwater- blamed on rice fields. It is widely held that rice fields use too much water. So Punjab Govt came up with this law & barred farmers from sowing rice in April & forced them to do this only towards the mid June

Here is the text of the PM’s Constitution Day speech at SC yesterday - pib.gov.in/PressReleseDet…

Requesting volunteers to please translate at least court related aspects of this seminal speech into various other languages - Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Odiya etc.
As against INCLUSION philosophy of Constitution,governance was abt exclusion.

Last 7 yrs saw real inclusive governance-2 cr houses,8 cr gas connections,health cover to 50 cr & Garib Kalyan ration to 80 cr is all that & so are govt’s development efforts!
All the governance efforts are abt developing every corner of the country in the same manner as Delhi & Mumbai. Our efforts have shown results via National Family Health Survey report as well as improvement in various parameters like Gender equality etc
