Speaker of the @GPLegislature @NMekgwe has also joined the commemoration event this morning.
This year's commemoration is held under the theme “Working Together to End inequalities, AIDS, TB and COVID-19 Get Tested. Get Vaccinated. Adhere to Treatment”. The province will take stock and chart the way forward on the 90-90-90 target.
Premier @David_Makhura and other dignitaries light and hold candles, as a symbol of faith. Many people who are HIV positive and have Aids have lost the light (faith) along the way. "This little light of mine, I'm gonna' let it shine", as attendees sing #WorldAIDSDay
