It’s is so hypocritical to watch this session on “National Bible Week,” as they claim they want to test every piece of legislation with God’s word. They don’t really want that, because they would be found out as sinful hypocrites, according to Matthew 23, Matthew 25, etc.
This is one of the saddest forms of hypocrisy I have ever seen displayed in the Congress by people whose policy positions are so contrary to the biblical call to love, justice, truth, and mercy.
It’s just sad, and the level of delusion is dangerous.
I wish there were other politicians there challenging these outright distortions that are being promulgated over TV without critique.
