"10 truths we refuse to admit about ourselves"

Thread
1. We fake smiles at others when we don't want to because we know that our feelings aren't important to other people.
2. We enhance our image on social media to mask our feelings of inadequacy.
3. We chase success because without money or degrees our deep-seated fear of being a failure is confirmed.
4. We try too hard to be inspirational.
5. We avoid dealing with our emotional issues despite knowing that they cause problems for everyone.
6. We care more about what other people think than about what we think, and it's destroying our confidence.
7. We won't practice the advice you give others because we'd rather fit in than practice what we preach and stand out.
8. We take things too personally.
9. We stick with what's known and suffer, instead of trying something new, because we are terrified of uncertainty.
10. We take to Heart all Praise we hear.
None of us are perfect, this is why it is important that we all look within and work on ourselves..

"Meditation for those who think they can't meditate"

| Thread
The first thing is the mindset towards meditation. There's a specific image that people have in their heads.

The sitting upright, cross legged on the floor image with absolutely no thoughts in your head is what people think meditation is.
It is meditation, but it's pretty advanced, & not good for beginners.
Number one, to meditate upright, u need perfect posture, which isn't going to be possible for the average person.
Ppl who do sports or some other athletic activity could sit like this, but not the layman.

Thread
1. Know Your Goals

It’s much easier to make decisions when you're abundantly clear on:

- What you’re trying to achieve.

- Why you’re trying to achieve it.

- & how you plan on achieving it.
2. Don’t Rush, Take Your Time

Try not to rush into making a big decision that comes your way.

Follow your deadlines but if you need more time to meet them ask for it. Be sure you are not procrastinating.
