With every lynching new "Heroes" are born, boys become Ghazis, those who can't find jobs get mureeds, legal teams, rallies & Mazar after death. Why must police intervene & risk life when State stands with lynchers. Embracing TLP will become Imran & Faiz's only legacy #Sialkot

Earlier today a Sri Lankan national employed as manager in a #Sialkot factory was accused of blasphemy, lynched to death then his body was burnt while Police no where in sight. Since #MashalKhan the odds of lynchers getting state support are better than accused getting protection

#SaadRizvi had more than 24 FIRs in his name. He was arrested and tried in 0. Instead of proving his guilt through due process of law he was turned into a victim in his eyes of his supporters through arbitary detentions by PTI Govt under MPO & ATA and his public appeal grew...

While #SaadRizvi remained in detention, out of sight of media, his party was allowed to mobilize for cantonment elections. Potest for Saad's release was a natural outcome of his arbitary detention which was held illegal by LHC & questions were asked about status of FIRs

Protest was expected to turn violent given #TLP's previous modus operandi which was only proved successful by repeated deals & surrender of Govts started under PMLN in 2016 but back then civ didn't have the benefit of mil being on the same page, still PMLN didn't learn its lesson

And in recent past PMLN also tried to play the religion card against PTI whenever it got the opportunity not knowing that it doesn't matter which mainstream party uses the card, the ultimate benefit goes to groups like TLP as it's their political narrative which is strengthened..

TLP got its cases closed, got removed from 4th Schd ATA got hints of electoral alliance with the incumbent PTI govt by their senator all while Saad was in detention, all this established him as an effective leader while real architects of this chaos sit in the establishment..

Khadim Rizvi's death anniversary is observed as an Urs, he has achieved a larger than life status for his followers. The Urs was officially facilitated by Punjab Govt this year. Imagine being a child & observing the Urs, would you really grow up thinking Khadim was a villain?

In times of compromised leadership where politicians play victims but can't name their abusers & use metaphors like "khalai makhlooq", Khadim Rizvi regardless of his dangerous views appeared to countless youth as brave and unapologetic with direct threats to CJP and CoAS...

Khadim's narrative was premised in our own national history/beliefs where Ilam Deen is a Ghazi. Khadim's appeal grew as he spoke in Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic & Persian, had an enviable command over Iqbal, was a Sheikh ul Hadees and called out anyone in power without mincing words...

Unchallenged by State Khadim initially began to increase his following by addressing his natural constituency the Barelvi youth by attacking Tahir ul Qadri, Ilyas Qadri & Owais Noorani questioning their credentials as they didn't support #SalmanTaseer's murder by #MumtazQadri...

#MumtazQadri was immediately dubbed modern day #IlamDeen here arose the national contradiction, how to condemn Mumtaz as a terrorist when we celebrate Ilam as a hero. What the elite also missed was murder of #SalmanTaseer was also seen as the great equalizer between classes...

#SalmanTaseer being Governor was seem as powerful untouchable elite while #MumtaQadri the poor man was either supposed to serve the system or suffer by it. Hence the murder not only had appeal in a perverse religious narrative but was also exploited by Khadim as an empowering act

Narrative pushed by TLP has become so strong that no mainstream party anywhere is willing to confront the issue of mob violence done in name of protecting of Prophet (S.A.W.). PTI, JUIF, ANP & PPP all demanded release of mob which set fire to Charsadda police station last week...

Our moral, social and political fibre being reduced to ashes only because the establishment wants a new pol force in Punjab to offset influence of PMLN which only fortified due to dismal performance of PTI. Our self serving leaders have no vision beyond their own tenure.
