WHICH FIRSTLY. lwj is surprised that wwx reads fanfic based on his on stuff and then mortified bc that's his smuttiest work yet. even better if he's a huge deal in the fandom and almost everyone knows his stuff (idk how it matters but it does LOL)
lwj knows lying is forbidden but he straight up lies and says no so wwx comes with receipts and shows passages from the fic & lwj's story that are eerily familiar and he's like either you're the same or you plagiarized from here, which one is it
wwx going on a rant and saying that he knows it might be weird but he's been following this fic writer for a long time and this particular story has been very impactful for wwx and he knew right from the first word of lwj's story that he'd read it before in fic
lwj takes a moment to feel proud of himself that his fave author reads his stuff and also that it has been impactful in wwx's life but then proceeds to pull out of the class after writing a new story and handing it in as an assignment
but wwx does not let it go and he's like yeah sure you wrote this new story but it just cemented my belief that it's you cause of how distorted the writing is as if you've very consciously tried to not write like this it's okay lan zhan i'm a fan thank you for supporting my work
yeah idk where i'm going with this now but i feel that maybe they end up co-authoring a book bc wwx had always wanted to work with this fic writer cause maybe lwj has been writing fic for a long time and wwx has been a fan since way before he published his own work
guests arrived and i never finished this but yeah i guess it goes from there. they co-author the book, write more stuff together and separately, fall in love, get married, have lotsa babies, live happily ever after ❤
