If the Democrats in Washington want to actually, you know, DO something to fight back against the dark money forces that have subverted SCOTUS & approved the #TexasAbortionBan, figure out #WhoOwnsKavanaugh.

It's both popular w/Dem voters AND the right thing to do.
The only politician who seems remotely interested in this is @SenWhitehouse, who is patiently explaining how dark money works. He needs help.

1/ Volume 5 of the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee Report could not be more clear: “The Committee found that the Russian government engaged in an aggressive, multifaceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.”
2/ That tracks with the popular press reporting at the time, with what Mueller/OSC found, and with warnings by the 17 agencies that comprise our Intelligence Community in 2016 that HRC alluded to in the “You’re the puppet!” debate.

From my PREVAIL piece today, "Incumbent Disasters," some interesting math on the "True One-Termers:"

In 1976, Carter got 40.8 million out of a possible 81.5 million votes.

In 1980, Carter got 35.5 million out of a possible 86.5 million votes.

Carter fell from 50 to 41 percent of the vote, a nine-point drop.
2/

This means that in that second election, the number of total votes went up, by about four million.

The number of votes for Carter went down, by over five million.
