Prisoners with penises are in women’s prisons.
Male prisoners with a GRC are placed in women’s prisons. Regardless of the type of conviction, offending history & anatomy. That includes violence & sex offences.

Even without a GRC, a man who says he is a woman can apply to be placed in a women’s prison. He has a right to be housed safely.
But so do women. Women in prison are vulnerable. Women in prison matter.
