Madras HC orders that further functioning of four educational institutions set up by HR&CE dept using temple funds will be subject to result of a PIL filed by @trramesh against use of temple funds for such purpose without the proposal emanating from the trustees. @THChennai
Orders that more colleges should not be started without the express leave of the court.
Judges say the Govt had bulldozed through the proposal to start four colleges. Says it will be a condition precedent for the colleges to impart a stream of instruction in Hindu religion, if it had not been done so already.

Former Advocate General Vijay Narayan is appearing for @actorvijay before the Madras High Court to argue appeal in Rolls-Royce Ghost car case @THChennai
He says Mr. Vijay is ready to pay the tax. He only wants expunging of "unjust" remarks made by single judge and to set aside costs of Rs.1 lakh
Mr. Narayan refers to "simple and plain" dismissal orders passed in similar cases filed by others challenging entry tax. Says single judge has made "uncharitable" remarks against actors community at large in the case filed by Vijay alone.
