basically we need to see a time kinetic imo. 1 hour coincubation of virus and antibodies may be generous for the antibodies and miss a window of kinetic discrepancy
Nice one here. You guys are right, it gets worse for the animals with evolution. It adapts to us faster than we can adapt to it, if you get what I'm saying.
Yea, it gets worse for the mice. You know an animal it probably doesn't get worse in? Bats. They have interferon signaling to deal with this kind of nasty virus
Hey guys. A lot of T cell hopium being irresponsibly passed around
I'm not cosigning that. If a mild case of Covid is giving lung diffusion issues, and given there is no published t cell correlate of protection, I think it's irresponsible and also disingenuous to write
Imagine I came to your field and said, "oh yea B cells will ramp up and protect you" if you were a researcher showing B cells were producing autoantibodies and producing severe cases.
You'd say, "wait a gosh darn minute, In some people that works to the opposite"
T cells are not some incantation you can invoke which will separate you from severe disease. Very sick people have the t cells
There's also no published correlate
there is no t cell marker to show who is a 30 year old that will get severe vs. mild illness based on their t cells
