A long #BoebertReportCard today. There have been a lot of votes in the House.
The Durango Herald had an editorial that mentioned how Boebert has been busy metaphorically extending her middle finger rather than representing her constituents, and that middle finger had a rigorous
workout over the last couple of days.
She gave a middle finger to Indigenous Peoples by votinng no on the Indian Buffalo Management Act. Also on the Agua Calinete Land Exchange Fee to Trust Confirmation Act. And another middle finger on the To amend title VI of the Social
Security Act to extend the coverage of Coronavirus Relief Fund payments to Tribal Governments.
She gave a big middle finger to those dealing with opioid addictions by voting no on the Synthetic Opiod Danger Awareness Act. She was one of only 14 to vote against it. Oh, and
another no vote on the Opioid Prescription Verification Act.
A middle finger to healthcare workers by voting against the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act, which is to provide counseling to prevent burnout of those essential workers.
A middle finger to kids,
by voting no on the Improving the Health of Children Act. One of 20 members to do so. And she voted no on the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act, one of 17 to do so.
She even had a middle finger for fetuses, voting against the SHINE for Autumn Act, which provides
funding for understanding the causes of stillbirths.
And a no vote on the Oral Health Literacy and Awareness Act of 2021. Because who needs teeth, right?
And a middle finger to hunters of elk and deer with a no vote on the Chronic Wasting Disease Research and Management Act.
And she saved the final middle finger for everyone. Despite all her rhetoric about supply chain problems, she voted against the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2021.
One change you’ll notice to the graphics for the report card. I’ve added a row to report on her proxy votes, which
she’s had 40 of so far this year, but none this month.
The only surprise was that she voted FOR the Pulse Nightclub Memorial in Orlando. Whether that was an accident or in deference to a family member who is rumored to be LGBTQ, we may never know.
She did her 88th grifting
tweet of the year.

Lauren had a busy tweeting weekend! 33 tweets. Few were memorable. Mostly empty platitudes and anger about Joe Biden. Seems she’s all done with Afghanistan and is back to immigration as her go to topic.
She got back from Texas; oh how she loves it there. I did a long thread on her new Texas bestie from the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Jenny Cudd. I think they’d make good cellmates. If you missed it, you can find that here:
She spoke in Texas at something called the Patriot Academy, founded by Rick Green. Located in Dripping Springs (that’s not satire) It promises to indoctrinate,
Rep @LaurenBoebert’s entire term could have been an email. A poorly worded, with lots of typos and emojis, misspelled email.
I have previously mocked @RepBoebert’s legislative prowess, so I thought we’d take a look at some of her other bold (a ridiculously long thread)
actions as documented in her press releases.
We begin our journey on Jan 4, the day after she was sworn in. A number of Democrats sought to restrict guns on the entire Capitol campus in the Rules package. What did Lauren do? “Lauren Boebert wrote and led a letter…”
Jan 14, a fellow legislator said he’d seen “someone” leading tours in the US Capitol. Boebert assumed he meant her, and “…U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO-03) sent a letter to U.S. Representative Sean Patrick (NY-18) Maloney.”
So, about @RepBoebert’s newest fan in the pictures from her trip to Midland, TX, with @AugustPfluger. The one in the Trump/DeSantis 2024 shirt. When Rep Pfluger posted a link to an article covering it, of course I had to read it. (long thread)
And that made me remember how the same woman listened with rapt attention to Boebert in another photo from the event, this one from the Odessa American.

Dear Democratic Senators and Representatives,
I say this with love in my heart, but y’all need to get moving. The electorate has moved heaven and earth (and Georgia) to bring you to power. We did that because we believed you will lead, restore justice, and return sanity to the
political landscape.
You’ve done some of that. Thank you. You need to do more. It is not enough to announce investigations; you must investigate and publicly announce the results of those investigations.
We need you to worry less about “messaging.” We’ve heard all the talk we
need to hear. Now we need action.
We need you to spend less time reacting to whatever the GQP tries to frame as a crisis and more time acting.
You need to act on women’s healthcare choices. You need to restore voting rights. You need to get moving on the January
