Rep @LaurenBoebert’s entire term could have been an email. A poorly worded, with lots of typos and emojis, misspelled email.

I have previously mocked @RepBoebert’s legislative prowess, so I thought we’d take a look at some of her other bold (a ridiculously long thread)
actions as documented in her press releases.

We begin our journey on Jan 4, the day after she was sworn in. A number of Democrats sought to restrict guns on the entire Capitol campus in the Rules package. What did Lauren do? “Lauren Boebert wrote and led a letter…”
Jan 14, a fellow legislator said he’d seen “someone” leading tours in the US Capitol. Boebert assumed he meant her, and “…U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO-03) sent a letter to U.S. Representative Sean Patrick (NY-18) Maloney.”
Jan 18, another legislator said he saw Lauren giving a tour to a large group of people, and so Lauren “sent a letter to U.S. Representative Steve Cohen (TN-09)”
Jan 26, on her signature issue, keeping the BLM headquarters in Grand Junction, “Lauren Boebert (CO-03) led a joint House letter to President Biden…” Oddly enough, she only got one other Colorado Representative to sign it.
Jan 28 Allegations of market manipulation in the Robinhood stock price swings? “Congresswoman Boebert and eleven other Members of Congress sent a letter to the Security and Exchange Commission…”
Feb 12 Her first taxpayer funded junket to Arizona to the border? She didn’t write any letters, but she said she “Signed Rep. Andy Biggs letter to the DHS Secretary,” “Signed Rep. Chip Roy’s letter raising concerns,” and “Signed Rep. Andy Biggs letter to Secretary of
State Blinken and Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas…”

Feb 26 When the IRS sent notices to taxpayers in error? “Lauren Boebert (CO-03) sent a letter to IRS Commissioner Charles P. Rettig demanding an explanation…”
Mar 3 When the right wing media went wild over “intersectional liberal ideology” in a Navy training program? Lauren wrote a letter to the Acting Secretary of the Navy, but the press release said “Lauren Boebert (CO-03) spearheaded an effort…”
Mar 3 When the House Speaker called on a distinguished veteran to determine what went wrong with defending the Capitol on Jan 6, “Lauren Boebert (CO-03) led 25 Members of Congress in calling on Speaker Pelosi to remove Lieutenant General Russel Honoré, USA (Ret.) from
investigating the events of January 6, 2021.”

Mar 10 “Lauren Boebert (CO-03), Senator Ted Cruz (TX), and Reps. Ted Budd (NC-13), Andy Biggs (AZ-05), and Chip Roy (TX-21) led a coalition of 10 Senators and 25 House members on a letter…” This one was on earmarks.
Mar 15 Before the Secretary of Interior was even sworn in, “Lauren Boebert, Mesa County Commissioners Janet Rowland, Cody Davis, and Scott McInnis, and Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Diane Schwenke sent a letter to the next Secretary of the Department of
the Interior Deb Haaland…” Did she ask either Colorado Senator or any of the other Colorado Representatives to sign the letter? Of course not.

Mar 16 When President Biden issued an Executive Order to study how to protect at least 30% of our lands and waters by 2030, she
“joined 12 Senate Members and 50 House Members of the Western Caucus in sending a letter to President Biden raising concerns…”

Mar 30 Out of nowhere, before the President formulated a budget, she wrote a letter encouraging his administration to fully fund the PILT (payment in
lieu of taxes), which happens every budget without fail.

Apr 16 When accused of instigating and aiding the violent riot at the Capitol Building, she “responded to Rep. Jayapal's baseless and partisan allegations to the Ethics Committee…” in a letter. My favorite part of her
letter? “I strive to behave at all times in a manner that reflects creditably on the House of Representatives…” Pardon me. I just snorted coffee out my nose.

May 24 “Lauren Boebert stood up for the San Luis Valley by sending a letter to the Director of the National Weather
Service urging the timely approval of a dedicated data portal and requesting an explanation for the delay in integrating the new San Luis Valley Radar’s data into the National Weather Service’s national system.”

Jun 3 “Lauren Boebert (CO-03) partnered with
House Committee on Natural Resources Ranking Member Bruce Westerman and Congressman Paul Gosar in standing up for ethics in public service by sending a letter requesting Department of the Interior ethics officials and Ms. Klein to disclose her recusal list to the Committee.”
Jun 11 “Colorado Representatives Boebert, Lamborn, and Buck sent a letter to Governor Polis urging him to reject the federal unemployment bonus and get Coloradans back to work.”

Jun 25 “Lauren Boebert joined House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Whip Steve
Scalise, House Committee on Natural Resources Ranking Member Bruce Westerman, and 35 other Members of Congress in sending a letter to Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland condemning the administration’s moratorium on onshore and offshore energy leases.” Oil and Gas.
Jun 25 ‘Representative Lauren joined 126 other Members of Congress to send a letter opposing the Biden administration’s intentions to revert the definition of “waters of the United States”… ‘ Representative Lauren. Presenting a kinder, gentler face? Or just another typo?
Jul 20 “Lauren Boebert led 10 other Members of Congress in sending a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding an explanation for the apparent inconsistent application of the law with respect to rioters across the country.” Translation: You are treating the people
who sacked the Capitol very unfairly. Their feelings are hurt.

Jul 28 “Lauren Boebert joined Chairman of the Western Caucus Dan Newhouse, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Natural Resources Bruce Westerman, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, and 37
additional Members of Congress in sending a letterto Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland requesting a briefing on the regime’s response to the Western drought crisis.” Regime is such a friendly way of opening discussion, don’t you think?
Jul 29 “Lauren Boebert joined House Committee on Natural Resources Ranking Member Bruce Westerman, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, Republican Whip Steve Scalise, and 71 additional members of Congress in a letter condemning Biden’s nomination of an eco-terrorist extremist.”
Aug 4 “Boebert led 6 additional members of Congress in sending a letter to Secretary Blinken condeming his invitation of UN bureaucrats to study systemic racism in the United States and advance their radical Critical Race Theory agenda.”
Aug 6 “Today, Rep. Boebert released a draft bipartisan letter she authored …” Seriously? She is releasing draft letters now? Oh, and this was about I-70 mudslides, which she actively monitored. Whatever that means.

Aug 7 “Lauren Boebert and the entire bicameral and bipartisan
Colorado congressional delegation sent a letter to the Department of Transportation requesting assistance from the Federal Highway Administration’s Emergency Relief Program…” This one actually got results. I suspect the other signers of the letter did some actual
communications with Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Aug 11 “Rep. Boebert is continuing to lead Colorado’s House of Representatives delegation in a draft letter calling on President Biden…” That draft letter must be really something.

Aug 11 (nope, not a typo, a SECOND press release)
"Rep Boebert is continuing to lead Colorado’s House of Representatives delegation in a draft letter calling on President Biden…” Must be a helluva letter. Too good to ever actually send. We’ll save this one for the Boebert Memorial Library.
And there we go. Over 9 months in office. 0 bills passed. Fewer than 12 cosponsors on each of her bills.
She’s written, “led,” signed, or “joined” 25 letters.

Has anyone told her about e-mail? Or maybe how to call or meet with people? Or nah, just write
a letter for the publicity then get back to tweeting?

You know the answer to that, and so do all the rest of us in Colorado’s District 3.

I’ll be brief in today’s #BoebertReportCard.

Lauren had a busy tweeting weekend! 33 tweets. Few were memorable. Mostly empty platitudes and anger about Joe Biden. Seems she’s all done with Afghanistan and is back to immigration as her go to topic.
She got back from Texas; oh how she loves it there. I did a long thread on her new Texas bestie from the January 6 attack on the Capitol. Jenny Cudd. I think they’d make good cellmates. If you missed it, you can find that here:
She spoke in Texas at something called the Patriot Academy, founded by Rick Green. Located in Dripping Springs (that’s not satire) It promises to indoctrinate,

So, about @RepBoebert’s newest fan in the pictures from her trip to Midland, TX, with @AugustPfluger. The one in the Trump/DeSantis 2024 shirt. When Rep Pfluger posted a link to an article covering it, of course I had to read it. (long thread)

And this picture was featured: Image

And that made me remember how the same woman listened with rapt attention to Boebert in another photo from the event, this one from the Odessa American.

Dear Democratic Senators and Representatives,
I say this with love in my heart, but y’all need to get moving. The electorate has moved heaven and earth (and Georgia) to bring you to power. We did that because we believed you will lead, restore justice, and return sanity to the
political landscape.

You’ve done some of that. Thank you. You need to do more. It is not enough to announce investigations; you must investigate and publicly announce the results of those investigations.

We need you to worry less about “messaging.” We’ve heard all the talk we
need to hear. Now we need action.

We need you to spend less time reacting to whatever the GQP tries to frame as a crisis and more time acting.

You need to act on women’s healthcare choices. You need to restore voting rights. You need to get moving on the January

A special edition of the #BoebertReportCard! Time to take a look at @RepBoebert’s legislative effectiveness. These are the bills she’s introduced since taking office in January. Now in fairness, the House of Representatives currently has a Democratic majority, so [thread]
she’d have to do something like reach across the aisle to get anything passed, and we all know she’d rather shout across the aisle, but even more telling is how few of her fellow Republicans she can round up as cosponsors. [Narrator’s voice: not many].
To put this into perspective, the House currently has 432 members with 3 vacancies; 220 Democrats and 212 Republicans. In order to get a simple majority, a bill or resolution needs 217 votes (until at least two of the vacancies are filled, then it moves up to 218).

It seems like it was only yesterday (Narrator's voice, it was yesterday) that @RepBoebert tweeted "You can’t rewrite history by simply lying!" Now Lauren's trying to delete all evidence of her stupid tweet this morning. But we won't let her forget, will we? Samuel Adams, not John Image
Also, some fine work was done with this meme... we must not lose it

Welcome to the first part of the #LaurenBoebertLies summary.

Lauren’s favorite video of herself is with a life-size cardboard cutout of Kamala Harris. It must be, because she’s had it pinned on her @RepBoebert page since June 8. The joke is, much of her own life is a
cardboard invention.

She lies about her parentage. She said her mom was “divorced” while they were in Florida, but there’s no record of her mom being married or divorced in Florida.

But her lineage IS kinda interesting. Her mother tried suing Stan Lee the wrestler for child
support. The story gets weirder when the paternity tests came back negative, and weirder still when it turns out the woman who did the paternity test had a history of faking them. And there are court records in this reporting that include her birth certificate, which leads
